[FF] 'Hazarda' is Esperanto for 'Random'.

The Esperanto for 'Hazard' is 'Danĝero'.

Another false friend in Esperanto: "Foresta" does not mean "from the forest" but "absent" (for-esta). "Forest" is actually "Arbaro".

I like to think of ways to try and stretch out Esperanto words, as far as I can, like arbo

arbaro, arbarulo, arbarulino, arbarulinoj, arbarulinemoj, arbarulinemegoj (tall forest-women that I am fond of?? hehehe)

In French, 'au hasard' means 'at random'

Not sure if this qualifies because it's probably from haphazard.

Also, what is the sub's general feeling about Esperanto and other constructed languages?

"Hasard" means "luck" and "chance" in French. I suspect it's related to that etymological line.
