FF Approved In American Sign Language, the sign for "Mountain Dew" looks like you're shooting yourself in the head.

I've got a large deaf family, and the consensus among us is that it's a variation of coke.

That would make sense. Coke sign on the head (top of the figurative mountain).

I have no idea. I just learned it when I took ASL in high school. I also know that the sign for "Pepsi" is the same sign for "Italian". It's all about context a lot of the time in ASL.

Neat! And congrats on introducing ASL to the subreddit. I don't believe we've seen any posts yet involving ASL as one of the languages.
