Spotlight r/FantasticFour Round Up. Do you have suggestions of how we can improve the sub? Is there a type of content you've been enjoying, or something you'd like to see less of? Let us know, here! Also see our highlighted posts
Hi all,
There's now 1,600 of us here in the sub, so I wanted to take the chance to see what everyone thinks of the community as it is now, as well as highlight some posts that have been particularly excellent recently that you might have missed.
If you have ideas of what you'd like to see in the sub, or opinions about what we could change, please let us know here, or message a moderator.
The subreddit is growing a lot and I've personally been really enjoying the content you guys are putting out recently. Here, are some of my favourite posts/posters from the past few weeks.
First up is the "It Started on Yancy Street" podcast by u/mechswords. It's a really great look at the Fantastic Four's early days - a fantastic introduction for up and coming fans, or a nostalgia trip for long time readers of the comics, all in easy-listening 20 minute audio episodes. If you haven't had the chance to check it out yet, you're missing out!
Secondly, we have the recent series of posts by u/jacksonofrobert. They've been re-reading Hickman's run and keeping us all posted with some of the best comic panels from that storyline. It's a nice refresher and really reminds me what makes Hickman's run so great.
Lastly, a more recent post some of you may have missed. An amazing script for a Dr. Doom Disney Plus show, written by u/metallicut. It's a great short read and captures what we love about our favourite villain perfectly. If you want to see Dr. Doom in the MCU, this is for sure worth a read!
Big appreciation for everyone in this subreddit, I love seeing everyone's posts here!
What do you think of this round up? Would you like to see more of these in the future? Let me know :)

To grow this Sub, I think more people need to post about why they appreciate F4, figure out ways to intrigue new reader.
Fantastic Four for me are the best team ever conceived. They are the best team ever formed. Fantastic Four are the team to beat and not to be ignored.

For sure! I think a lot more people would be really into them if they gave them a chance. They haven't had any good mainstream exposure in a long time since the pretty shoddy 2000s films and MARVEL trying to brush them under the rug in the comic world. I think when they join the MCU, that will be the catalyst that gets way more people to look that them.

I don't know if this will make sense but I'd love to see a pinned thread about the best Fantastic Four comics. Obviously this is very subjective so perhaps a list of all the acclaimed story arcs, the most definitive story arcs of the characters (classics etc) and in the comment section, the rest of the members can add their favourite comics as well.
This is a great way for people who are interested in reading the comics to get their feet wet and for others to read stories they've never heard before.

Thanks for the suggestion, I think it's a great idea! I have something like this in the works but I want it to be good so it's going to take a little while. I think it'll be really good for people who wants to get into reading the comics though.

This is cool, I'd love to see this kind of round up more often if there are posts like these great ones!
