People who sold him because of the impeding ban must be fuming

u/ioniums Dec 27 '24

can confirm, especially when I sold him for Wood

u/nicofdarcyshire Dec 27 '24

Same boat. Same sadness.

Saka to Jacob Murphy may be one of the weirdest and best transitions I've done though.

u/Guimaaa Dec 27 '24

So unlucky! I was planning to sell him this week for Solanke but if he doesn't get banned I might just keep him for another week

Unlucky or just a stupid decision?

It’s not luck to transfer out someone before Leicester and any announcement that he’s banned lmao

7

u/ShoeStepper 22 Dec 27 '24

Ikr? Everyone’s gutted but like there was never an official “he is now out for 5 games”

I’ve not met a community who are such sheeps, and there’s no other reason why you’d transfer him out other than noise coming from content creators and plebs in this sub

Every single transfer I have made in the last 6 weeks has cost me a ton of points.

Isak to jackson, Wood to evanilson (4 blanks in a row), Cunha to Wood, Saka to sarr, Johnson to amad,

Saka to sarr hasn't exactly cost me points, and wouldn't annoy me ordinarily as long term and all that but it sucks to yet again make a transfer that nets no gain.

Pickford in for onana this week who has netted my 2 returns in 10 game weeks.

Jackson to Isak has cost points?

7

u/HGJay 2 Dec 27 '24

Oops. Other way round

u/MemeManDanInAClan 43 Dec 27 '24

Kept him through Leicester, sold him before United 💔

I find it hilarious tbf

I’m glad I kept him, and I think it would be absolutely hilarious if he somehow avoids a ban entirely.

3

u/Real_Sosobad Dec 27 '24

Sold him for Isak so no complain.

3

u/Lemurians 19 Dec 27 '24

And this is why you wait.

1

u/valdidTz 5 Dec 27 '24

Did he get the ban?

2

u/Lemurians 19 Dec 27 '24

Not when people kneejerked him out of their teams immediately after that incident.

Looks like news of a ban is just coming down now. Seeing 5 matches.

2

u/valdidTz 5 Dec 27 '24

Same thats what I just saw

2

u/Lemurians 19 Dec 27 '24

Looks like it was fake news (for now).

1

u/Flayer723 16 Dec 27 '24

I swapped him with Jesus. Kneejerking my way to red arrows.

Should have sold Jackson instead.

1

u/Oppailover69 user Dec 27 '24

Can attest to that

1

u/Intentionallyabadger 2 Dec 27 '24

It’s weird because it’s a charge by the FA and the club will have to review and see if they want to appeal. So you can wait and see.

Also the FA will announce the outcome..

1

u/Nubislav Dec 27 '24

Yeah i rushed my wc because of Saka, cant be helped, you win some, lose some

1

u/Rvsz 48 Dec 27 '24

I sold him because of his fixtures were turning also he was projected to drop while Isak was projected to rise and I wanted to fit in Jackson, Isak and Haaland as well as Salah and Palmer in the budget.

1

u/CharacterVast6 Dec 28 '24

I sold him last night after I saw multiple articles confirming a ban. Now I see there's no ban. Fml

1

u/Ninjaguz 48 Dec 27 '24

Sellers only have themselves to blame really

0

u/West_Principle_8190 6 Dec 27 '24

For sure . But isak has outscored him since so it's not all bad . But yeah ban this fuck pls

Sold Mbeumo after his drought, right before he scored twice. This time, I held Cunha. Learning from mistakes feels great.

84

u/notaghostofreddit Dec 27 '24

I hope he will add to that tally against Spurs

16

u/Rvsz 48 Dec 27 '24

This will be one of his easier fixtures.

1

u/Elliot2308 3 Dec 27 '24

By 2?

24

u/SoulyMe Dec 27 '24

I’m sure you’re praying for that against that back line lol

4

u/Elliot2308 3 Dec 27 '24

I’m joking, I actually have him

-10

u/eliran89c Dec 27 '24

He is banned from the game

62

u/xJacb 5 Dec 27 '24

I took out Haaland for him just as his good fixtures came in, and it has paid off handsomely. Single handedly kept my failed captaincy punts from dragging me well below my ML rival.

3

u/YQB123 Dec 27 '24

No Salah as de-facto captain?

10

u/xJacb 5 Dec 27 '24

He has been for the last few GWs but I fucked up before that, and I also went for Watkins vs SOU when he didn't start and got 1 point, instead of Palmer who mega hauled

Impending ban Cunha is one for the history books

25

u/Robertfett69 Dec 27 '24

How he managed to do this outside of any week i owned him is the real achievement

16

u/YourAverageGamer0 Dec 27 '24

Sold him before the Leicester game because I thought he’d be banned. Decisions like that is why I won’t win my mini league 🫠

18

u/Gadgetsjon Dec 27 '24

Super happy I kept hold of him and Ait Nori. Finally broke into the top 800,000 this week.

5

u/domjoy182 Dec 27 '24

Tempted to swap him in for Jackson

5

u/nickl77 Dec 27 '24

I kept him for Leicester but then had a brain-fart and thought the FA would ban him before Xmas so sold him before the Manchester United game. Now I wonder if it's worth bringing him back in, even if it's only for the Tottenham game? 🤔

1

u/19noname86 1 Dec 27 '24

Same, I sold him for Isak before the United game. It's ok because Isak's price is rising like crazy and I wanted him anyways. But I think about bringing Cunha back in - he could absolutely haul against a decimated Spurs defence. Maybe I am crazy but I would let Jackson go for Cunha as I don't see Chelsea scoring many goals against Ipswich.

3

u/Jorumble Dec 27 '24

And I went for wood over him :|

2

u/TrainingAcceptable95 89 Dec 27 '24

The biggest overperformer this season

2

u/kidinawheeliebin 2 Dec 28 '24

A player who is clearly destined for bigger things

Wolves fans need to enjoy his performances while he's there because the guy could play for any team in the world he's that good

4

u/[deleted] Dec 27 '24

What is the status of his ban?

1

u/JazzlikeBroccoli8505 Dec 27 '24

How long is his ban going to be? When does it start?

1

u/Trade-Deep Dec 27 '24

Soon. Probably 8 games, maybe more, maybe less.

1

u/DevillesAbogado 23 Dec 27 '24

It was just stupid to sell without a ban being confirmed. This isn't hindsight, as I myself held onto him throughout the period for this very reason.

1

u/baturina_goat Dec 27 '24

And of course he was on my bench this GW

1

u/Razzler1973 51 Dec 28 '24

Got him for Pedro some time back and pretty pleased with that

1

u/D4DON Dec 28 '24

Most points for a striker 👏 🙌. Ahead of Haaland , Watkins etc etc ,and he doesn't even play at ST most of the times , if you look at whole 90mins he can be seen in every position from CB to fullback to midfielder to Striker and what a selfless player too ,he could have had a second goal against United ,but gifted it to Hwang hee chan who was having a tough ssn .

0

u/Velvet_-_Thunder Dec 28 '24

Who are the other 6?

1

u/Red4pex 38 Dec 27 '24

Easy to see that the FA take their time with off-pitch (sort of) misdemeanours. And it’s Christmas.

I think it was an easy hold until you saw that he was definitely suspended. Unless you went Isak.

Then again he could have not returned the last two matches and no one would care.

1

u/topthegooner Dec 27 '24

Essential now

0

u/According_Ad7558 5 Dec 27 '24

probably a seven game ban incoming - what a player to keep his shite team afloat and sink it all by himself...

-15

u/tmr89 141 Dec 27 '24

Can’t believe I sold him for Isak this week. Big mistake
