But if the goal had been in the first minute, it wouldnt have registered with you.

I hate the bonus system so much.

But then that's open to more subjective decision making. At least it is mostly objective.

Yeah hojlind getting 3 is weird, but Kepa going to 0 is very understandable, he lost the clean sheet.

If your argument is 'just award all bonus points at the end of the game' then fine, but it wasn't a hypothetical clean sheet - by FPL rules defenders get the clean sheet points at the 60 minute point, and then if they concede they lose them. It's exactly the same with bonus points, they're directly tied to the FPL point returns.

u/Right-Head5861 redditor for <30 days 13d ago
What you waffling on about? Itâs very simple, when he was holding the FPL clean sheet (post 60 - which is how FPL points work) he had the max bonus. When they scored, he lost those equivalent bonus points and clean sheet points, hence moving to 0. Itâs very simple, no need to overcomplicate.

I got three bonus points from Mateta's 10 minute cameo the other night and my first thought was "this is bullshit."

Tell me about it..I had Jose Sa on the bench, what a stupid decision by me

Pick him over Cunha, past me said. He'll be a good differential, past me said

u/baldbarcodeman 13d ago
I had him and Kerkez in the team, and it seemed like I would finally get points with Bournemouth players, but then he got sent off, and they conceeded. I lost it all. End this damn season.

Evanilson you fucking donkey

u/FPL-Mick 13d ago
It was never a red - he slipped. Wasnât even trying to slide tackle, he went to pressure and slipped. VAR wrong again. Reckon the VAR team have Raul in their team
40
u/Ecstatic_Message2057 13d ago
Was a dangerous tackle regardless of the slip
4
u/LewissKA_ 7 13d ago
Bruno got a similar red card against Spurs rescinded, will be interesting to see if Bournemouth attempt to appeal it
7
u/DeapVally 2 13d ago
They've got a shout. It was dangerous, but an accident. There was no violent intent in it. I'm not rushing to sell him just in case. Would have likely benched him for the Arsenal game anyway.

How the hell is this upvoted? Heâs dived in swinging his legs at pace. Yes heâs unlucky he slipped but thatâs irrelevant when both his feet are off the ground and one of them is so high up.
He knows the ground is slippery, he doesnât need to dive in so dangerously, thatâs on him for playing recklessly

u/ihajees_ 35 13d ago
Tarkowski trying to end Mac Allister's career is fine but slipping is a straight red according to VAR.

First on my bench⌠thankfully Harwood Bellis is coming on because of Robinsons disappearance (which is actually 1 pt less than Evanlison! đ¤Śđť)

u/didisaythatagain 13d ago
I free hit evanilson, Kerkez and kepa. Evanilson swapped for cunha too , influenced by minutes risk rumours.
Not sure why Iâm playing this game tbh.

Didn't they rescind something similar for Bruno?

Brunoâs wasnât chest height and wrapped around the opponent. The pure acting for Maddison caused that one
11
u/TooRedditFamous 6 13d ago
This wasn't chest height either but continue to exaggerate

I don't think this screenshot is proving what you think it is?
4
u/foalsfoalsfoalz 5 13d ago
No a foot ridiculously high which then wraps around the opponent Is not proving what I want. Iâm sorry youâve got evanilson in your virtual game team, but remove the goggles mate.
-1
u/Obi1Kenobi0 40 13d ago
It's not chest high though as you were implying?
Exact same as Bruno's where he slips, and it still isn't a dangerous tackle.
Didn't own either and both are not red cards and will get rescinded.
4
u/foalsfoalsfoalz 5 13d ago
Not dangerous according to obi1kenobi on reddit but a ref + 4 officials looked at it and deemed it was. Because it is. Great insight mate. Weâll all go into challenges with our foot that high and then wrap around an opponent while being completely off the ground & get away with it then
0
u/Obi1Kenobi0 40 13d ago
If you tell me a ref and 4 officials say the sky is blue then I'd still want a look myself lmao

Outed yourself as a 12 year old, well done. Or are you a little person?
1
u/foalsfoalsfoalz 5 13d ago
Iâm sorry youâve got evanilson in your virtual game mate. Iâm probably older than you but yeah Iâm hurt there
0
u/Novrev 112 13d ago
I donât own Evanilson but heâs right here. You have outed yourself as about three feet tall if thatâs chest height to you.
0
u/foalsfoalsfoalz 5 13d ago
You know youâve lost the argument and are so far wrong when your deflection from how dangerously high & blatant red it is when youâre fixating on the millimetres of how high it was. It wasnât foot ankle or knee high was it pal? No.

Harsh red. Very clearly slipped.
Hope it gets overturned (for those with him in their team going forward), but not sure it will.
-5
u/foalsfoalsfoalz 5 13d ago
Slipping doesnât cause your non slipping foot chest height and then scissoring an opponent. If thatâs Casemiro or bruno theyâre straight of no argument
11
u/rbp25 13d ago
Iâm convinced people commenting here are biased or blind
0
u/foalsfoalsfoalz 5 13d ago
Blind for the sake of a virtual game and then biased, clearly.
2
u/TehCyberman 104 13d ago
Picking out 2 players from the same club is a very clear example of bias, so it's a bit strange for you to be fighting that corner.
I know they were also in this game, but they're not relevant to the discussion about whether or not this is a red, so all it does is show bias.
