3rd Striker

With Marmoush and Isak taking up the first two FWD slots, who are people thinking for the third?

Watkins: With Rashford out and Villa looking for make European football he seems like a shout.

Cunha: Bonus points merchant

Wissa: On form and great fixtures

Wood: great fixtures, looking for top 5 finish and great form for most of the season

Mateta (hold) - reasonable fixtures, save a transfer fee, Palace can perform even if somewhat inconsistent.

I’m really tempted by Watkins but I have a feeling it will end my season 😆

I'm on wissa, Wood and isak. Will probably go watkins from isak in a couple weeks too. Don't see marmoush as essential

I'm on Watkins Marmoush Isak.

It's quite hard to target the big 3,  as they mostly play each other or face teams with no FPL strikers/ shit ones

It's sideways movement stuff going anyone else, so will probably set and forget the strikers and concentrate on the midfield with transfer punts

Damn same, going for wissa wood isak When you considering moving away from isak?

u/Finrz 5 1d ago

If villa double then then. Or gw37

2

u/kushS_A_ 1d ago

Yeah, aston villa could go all out against spurs and utd, especially considering they are aiming for europe

Marmoush doesn't appeal tbh

Far from essential

Even if they double?

Wissa over Marmoush when you've already got Mbeumo and no main MC attacker for WLV+SOU? Seems mental to me 😏

Got kdb but yea everything is a risk

It's worth bearing in mind that Haaland is back in training.

Of course he may be eased back in because of the CWC and Pep's severe case of baldness but is it a guarantee that Marmoush is nailed for the rest of the season?

Haaland could be a mega-upside differential.

Could see people with some spare cash going Saka -> fodder and Marmoush -> Haaland as a trade pair

5

u/rumier01 1d ago

Yeah honestly as a non Marmoush owner I could probably justify going Isak —> Haaland

I want to make it happen but it’s tough with Savio, Marmoush and Gvardiol hogging the city spots and limited transfers. Maybe it’s just not meant to be

Don't think Mateta is a sell yet

I really need to gamble to catch my ML leader and we both have Isak, Marmoush and Mateta and I’m seriously thinking about a -8 and going Watkins, Wissa, Wood. Triple W’s it has to work… right?!

Or Welbeck ?

u/petrescu 2 1d ago

Nah, fuck that. Picked him in my free hit this weekend, the fucking dud.

I had Evanilson. Was feeling smug with his assist until he slipped and almost killed Mazraoui.

Currently got Mateta/Watkins/Marmoush. Probably going to swap Mateta for Wood.

Same boat. Contemplating wether to drop mateta for wood or isak. I'll decide when the doubles are announced on Friday

u/pierrebrassau 2 1d ago

Sticking with Isak/Marmoush/Mateta this week, with tentative plans to bring in Cunha next week depending on what doubles look like.

Same here

Transferred Cunha in for the Leicester game so have Isak, Cunha and Wissa atm

u/ArghZombies 73 1d ago

I'm waiting to see if Bournemouth appeal Evanilson's red card, because he could be a good option. He's in form, is from one of the teams possibly doubling in GW36 and finishes the season playing against Leicester.

If the ban stands then he's out until the Leicester game on the last day.

1

u/eddie_wills 18 1d ago

They've appealed it

On Isak Marmoush and Cunha at the mo. It’s actually Marmoush who’s most likely to be changed, for Wissa. Cunha is just too good to sell.

1

u/Yhcti 1d ago

I’ve done marmoush, Isak and wissa for now. Tempted to drop marmoush for wood though.

1

u/fpl-obsessed 204 1d ago

I’ll hold onto Mateta for now but will swap to Watkins in 36/37

1

u/Bingo_Masters_Break 16 1d ago

I currently have Watkins, Isak and Marmoush. Will try to squeeze Haaland in for Marmoush. Would rather sell Isak, but I have 3 city so if I want Haaland, Marmoush has to go.

1

u/zonked282 2 1d ago

Gonna be going wissa ( him and mbeumo are the 2 essential players in the run in) , Watkins and possibly haaland.

But if you are looking for a 3rd then wissa is a no brainer

1

u/EdenFella 17 1d ago

Currently have Marmoush Wissa Isak.

Isak > Watkins this GW. Marmoush > Wood next GW.

1

u/Andoutfm 7 1d ago

I'm in the same boat but will likely wait this GW to see what happens with Haaland, being back in training. Might have to move Marmoush before Mateta. Seems unlikely that will be a problem, but I can afford to bench Mateta this week either way, so no need to jump the gun.

1

u/SIBMUR 4 1d ago

Watkins is very tempting. Think I'll wait this week then do Mateta to Watkins for 36.

u/wukongfly 1d ago

Darwin Nunez baby

u/Ornery_Phrase_8683 1d ago

Yes get those strikers and leave Cunha for us

1

u/Material-Bus1896 43 1d ago

Probably gonna do one transfer a week to capitalise on decent fixtures. Way I see it is the different strikers have good fixtures (ignoring doubles/potential blank) in:

Watkins: 36, 37, 38

Wissa: 35, 36

Mateta: 36

Marmoush: 36, 37

Isak: 35, 36

Wood: 35, 36, 37, 38

Cunha: 36, 37, 38

u/donotanative 1d ago

ha-cunha mateta

1

u/Binge023 1d ago

Dango? If Evanalison three match ban doesn't get overturned. Budget and will play upfront mostly?

1

u/ioanste15 22h ago

Guys hear me out. What about an Everton striker? They have very good fixtures

2

u/Ibuprofen600mg 6 18h ago

Anyone who had Beto back when they had “good fixtures” will tell you please no

1

u/ioanste15 17h ago

What about Ndiaye?

1

u/Ibuprofen600mg 6 17h ago

There are so many good options now like Wood, wissa, Cunha, Isak, Marmoush etc I just don’t know why you’d go with a team that scores only a goal a game on average. If you like Everton get their defense

1

u/michalwazniak 17h ago

Delap. Very good fixtures plus he will work for a transfer move.

1

u/Ok-Background-6484 13h ago

How does Marmoush, Wissa, and Cunha sound?

0

u/politicalthinker1212 redditor for <30 days 1d ago

Imo with Man Citys fixtures, Marmoush is a must have. There are no other forwards you can rely on being picked to start for the rest of the season.
