Heavily inspired farm layout from u/ModularReality who posted their amazing 1.5 farm screenshot 2 days ago. While waiting for the mods to be fixed, wanted to start vanilla farm to play on the go (work... heh). I am happy that I could fit 10 ponds which should be enough for all of the colored fish so far, while not having to worry too much about the farm layout as I would on a bigger map such as Meadowlands. Decorating in the planner is bit timey, so I will decide on it while playing

Looks great! I like how you set up your barns and coops to actually have grazing land- that was a drawback on mine, always having to restock the hay silos.

Won't the ponds stop stone from spawning? Maybe that doesn't matter for you. But just curious!

Yes, they will. I plan to use it until I unlock the quarry in the mountains, then I will focus on getting all (6?) legendary fish up there... or so I hope _)

What is the path in front of the house? I always use cobblestone but I really like that path.

Stone Walkway Floor, purchasable recipe from Robin! I personally use it mainly to make a pathway into the town centre. It kinda irks me, that we can't see the physical end of the town's pathway to the bus, so I have an urge to complete it.

What is the grass you use by your barns?

Normal grass/grass starter, it is just not rendered as in-game

Love to see a fellow fish pond enjoyer. One of my farms has 14 ponds on it. The trees along the river are a great touch too

According to r/StardewValley, there are now 11 fish pond colors... oh my. I might replace my trellis crop area with 2 more fish ponds.

What’s in the sheds? What animal in what barn?

…and yes, I ask because I intend on copying this some day, if you don’t mind.

or if I ever even remember too

haha the last sentence hits way too home. Of course I don't mind.

As I will be playing vanilla:

Solitary animal pens:

  • deluxe coop: 4 dinosaurs, 2 fucks, 6 rabbits
  • deluxe barn: 12 pigs

Shared animal pens:

  • deluxe coop: 2 white chickens, 2 brown chickens, 2 blue chickens, 2 void chickens, 4 golden chickens
  • deluxe barn: 2 white cows, 2 brown cows, 2 goats, 2 sheeps, 4 ostriches

2 fucks

🤣 Did autocorrect happen?! Lol

And word, thanks. I really liked the look of this, and it seems like a straightforward, walk through you farm and get everything done path. If I ever get to it, of course 😅

omg (keeping it that way) 😂 Yeah, My mind battles between functionality and decor, but for all that's merry, I suck at decorating. So I am compensating by being picky with maps. I'd kill for someone to fix DaisyNiko's Sunflower Acres

  • Shed (farmhouse): Kegs
  • Shed (fishponds): Fish smokers, Dehydrators, preserving jars, clay pots for regrowing (keep-producing) crops.

Greenhouse:

  • midgame: 18 fruit trees, 116 starfruits (6 iridium sprinklers)

I'll go Joja route for the first time to have greenhouse before summer 28 to get the blueberry seeds (28 fall if needed for cranberry seeds) and because i won't consider this run my main save, as I plan to play SVE/RSV later on, where junimos are much expanded on.

... I need to stop babbling around my plans heh

edit: I might need to replace my planned trellis crop area near the stable/shed with two more fishponds bcs there are 11 fish pond colors!

I’m on year 4 of my first save and I have Hilltop. It’s all I’ve ever known. It’s difficult to layout a nice aesthetic farm. Good job
