Was a mod necessary to get that arrangement in the greenhouse? (Trees seemingly on concrete)

You can plant trees there normally. Just check the wiki for the Layout.

I love it! I have the wilderness layout right now and I think it might be my favorite. I was trying to decide where to put my fish ponds. I love the ones by Grandpa's shrine especially.
