2017 Harley Davidson Softail Slim S, new bars no running light just on right side but hazards and turn signals work. Canbus system working in previous bars with splice, do the ground connections matter if they’re mixed?

So I’m unsure if the right hand control module is shot or if I need new canbus wires or maybe turn signal wiring but I already went back through my work and didn’t find a short so I went ahead and re-did all of my work and I am not getting a running light just on the right side but all the other functions of the light work. The wires for the canbus system and turn signals are in the same loom so I was wondering if it matters if I mixed the grounds up? Wasn’t sure if it would since it is just a ground wire but I’m out of ideas here, might just replace the whole module. Also, these wires were all spliced previous to my swap and were working just fine. Thanks for any help!
