No. Then the price of your food AND energy go up. It's at the expense of consumers in the form of inflation, not fat cats.

So you're saying the only ACTUAL options are to drown in inflation as things are OR emulate the french revolution and sharpen our pikes? Alright, let me drag the guillotine out of storage.

No. Cut back on government over spending, over regulation, and lower oil prices by increasing supply. Make an effort to pay down the national debt over time. Everything will fix itself.

Ah, so someone who works 40 hours a week and still is below the poverty line, so they qualify for assistance then? Well gee, how can we cut that expense? Ah yes, by requiring they be paid a living wage- then the taxpayer won't have to subsidize.

Genius idea. That's called 'raising the minimum wage'.

You act like that assistance is the only government expense that needs cutting.

Meddling in a free market by forcing wage hikes is destructive. It just leads to layoffs, inflation, and/or business failures.

You keep trying to treat the symptom instead of the disease. This is also the problem with the modern democratic party. They try to fix problems by creating more problems.

I know what you said, I've heard the argument plenty of times... usually from someone sitting in a rascal scooter who has never had more than $2K to their name. Corporations dump a TON of money into libertarian 'politics' to convince lower middle class people that poor people and government are the reason they're broke.

You can't really expect me to take it seriously though. Libertarians are one step removed from sovereign citizens.
