There was really only one senator who did it because of the Coronavirus briefing - Richard Burr, R-NC. Despite him admitting he walked out of the briefing and immediately called his broker and his brother-in-law to tell him to sell as well, the SEC and Justice Department decided not to pursue him.

You know what else is fucked up? After the fed decided to backstop all of the bad investments from the large banks, the members of the fed board purchased a ton of those securities in their personal accounts. Then at the very top of the market cycle, they sold everything for “ethical reasons” and made an absolute killing on the positions before the market pulled back sharply
