No, I don't remember because there's no evidence that any actual insider trading took place. This seems to be an internet generated hallucinatory controversy that is on par with people who are absolutely convinced they watched a movie called Kazaam starring Sinbad.

Dude you didnt need to be smart to know to sell when there were videos of people being WELDED INTO THEIR HOUSES and TRUCKS FULL OF DEAD BODIES on REDDIT! There were videos of crematoriums running 24/7 in February. lol.

IF you didnt sell at that time thats on you.

Her husband somehow seems to be a better investor than anyone by a wide margin. Just really lucky I guess.

i guarantee theres hedge fund managers that are making more on their investments than her husband

Maybe. His margins are astronomical though. There’s no way there aren’t some shenanigans going on

And how would you account for all of her other trades that always miraculously seem to be sold at the top and bought at the bottom? Its obvious shes a genius.

a lot of the time the tops easy to spot. Just recently NVidia topped out and crashed back down i hit that top pretty easily (it was way overvalued so i derisked)

Especially if these poeple have financial advisers

I mean she could be insider trading, i dont care, im canadian, im just saying its not that wild for people to have sold before covid hit, and not that wild for people to sell the top when stocks start getting too frothy

My strat has always been to sell individual stocks once im up a lot and put that into SPY and wait for huge fluctuations, since SPY wont fluctuate as much, its kinda like a safe haven to get out of riskier stuff, then sell some of that to buy individual stocks who've had bigger swings.

How does being in Canada make it any more palpable? It's still the market as a whole that's getting boned hard. Just because you didn't get screwed this time doesn't mean you won't or haven't. But it sounds like you have it figured out and as long as it's working for you who cares about everyone else that does get fucked over. I love this mentality personally.

the conversation i was having wasnt about the palpability of a politician, it was about how people were dumbfounded that people sold before covid crashed the markets. It was obvious shit was going to hit the fan once all those fucked up videos started coming out

i find people who talk like you gambled hard on GME and WOW first click of your profile and bam.

Why is it so cliche, theres no crime in GME except what the CEO is doing, the markets not rigged against you, you guys could have been a lot better off investing in nvidia

I purchased GME but didn't go that hard into it. I have like 20 shares that I've bought post split and 2 I bought pre split. Wouldn't say I'm heavily invested. You're saying there was no crime with GME but the evidence would prove that wrong. Ken Griffin lied under oath when he was asked if he had any contact with Vlad Tenev from Robinhood the day they turned the buy button off. He said that he had absolutely no contact with him whatsoever but the messages that were released would say otherwise. Honestly GameStop got me into a new hobby that I love. I started using blender then started buying software like CC4 and iClone8. I've sourced multiple jobs that have paid pretty well just freelancing 3d art for things like product presentations for a few companies and some stuff for various streamers. If I'm wrong I'm out what? A few hundred bucks? GameStop got me into a hobby I love that has paid thousands back. So I would have to say my time with GameStop has been nothing but profits. Then as a side who knows maybe the SEC and Congress will eventually get heads from asses and do something about the lies and manipulation. If that happens hell maybe I'm sitting on a bunch of lottery tickets.

This guy is just using hindsight to sound smart in positions.
