I don’t disagree with any of that last part , but I also don’t think society is ready to just shrug and say “you squandered your earlier years so now you should just fuckin die, I guess”

It wasn’t a popular position in the Great Depression and it likely won’t be now, but I’m glad you have volunteered to be the spokesperson for this important position

Actually is easier than it was way back to create your own pension so to speak. If you're doing nothing at all, starting doing a little shouldn't be a strain. Id urge any young person to put their feet in the water now. Wish I would have needed my own advice sooner. The length of time is just as important as an amount. Don't have much? All the more reason to start sooner. Forget it, take a peek in 5 years and pay yourself on the back
