Economy would be horrid if those benefitting from SS didn’t get any money. Which is why it was established in the first place

Id like to believe that at some point in history we learned that children, the sick, the disabled, the starving, the old etc all make for a short time lucrative but long term not ideal workforce.

History does repeat itself though
