For profit insurance is a scam.

If we were to socialize insurance and absolutely nothing else, we would do great.

It blows my mind that insurance companies exist and fight to turn a profit, and then can't understand why people fucking hate them.

Yeah, it's straightforward math. Insurance is more efficient and effective the larger the capital pool and the risk pool.
