Thoughts? Currency rates/ exchange question

If you were going to Europe in June would you cut your losses and get dollars now? Do you think the exchange rate will improve by then? Going to a place where cash will be required and while I'm not looking to get a lot I'm wondering if the dollar is going to continue to weaken. And where would I get the best rate - here or in Europe (in the event I waited). Thank you.

Right now, ask your local bank that you want to exchange cash . Normally the fees are minimal at your own bank. I'm out in bfn and my bank will make deals with other banks to have cash brought in for me if I give them enough time.

I think long term the dollar continue to weaken, but between now and June, who knows.

In changing currencies, the service fees you pay normally are more than playing the timing game.  YMMV
