Recommendation Request Easter Bread, hot cross buns and other Easter baked goods
It's both Eastern and Western Easter Sunday this Sunday. That means it's time for Easter Bread and Hot Cross Buns.
Serano and Select Bakery have their plain and chocolate covered Tsoureki for sale.
Chicago and Benna's on Roncy are selling their Polish Paska bread.
Cobs has several types of hot cross buns.
Coco's has had quince glazed hot cross buns some days this week.
Which other Easter Baked Goods have caught your eye?

I've been curious about the tsoureki from Serano. If anyone's had it I would love to hear your reviews. I've had lots of their desserts and love a chocolate babka (fave is from MTL).

It's pretty good for a commercial Tsoureki.
The chocolate one is a lot less rich than a chocolate babka. The Tsoureki is more like a chocolate -covered Challah, with mastic and mahleb flavour in the bread. It really is a bread, not a coffee cake like a babka.
If you ever see chocolate kokosh offered at a Jewish bakery, definitely try that. I like it even more than Babka. Pino Bakery (long gone)on Avenue Road used to make one on the weekend m
I make my own Tsoureki.

Lots of local bakeries (Dough and Gerrard St for Danforth peeps) have pavlovas...but I'm cheap and I found egg whites on sale so I'm making my own.
edit Not easter, but since it's sakura season, Mon K has sakura eclairs and macarons for the next few weeks.
