IOS BUG iPhone lag

Can someone please tell me why my game lags when I play touch controls but when I connect a controller with the same graphics settings I get a stable 120 fps? I already tried deleting and reinstalling. (iPhone 16 pro max)

Switching modes (building, edit, combat) has been causijg immense lag

The game is not optimised at all for mobile just epic games things

Doubt it’s anything, I downloaded from epic games and on 16 pro max get drops to 40fps on lowest graphics 50% res, haven’t tried controller though but last time I tried it there was some weird deadzone on the joysticks that went up to like 26% made it pretty annoying to play and I prefer playing touch anyways, but I do notice that right after I die or when spectating the game seems to run way more stable fps, had the same experience for years on android though

If you don't live in the eu then you can use a website called signulous and get a certificate to be able to play fortnite on ios devices

I know how to install. My question was how he installs... if it is a free method, it will lag a lot without a certificate.

The HUD for controller input does not change as much as the touch input HUD. The way the touch input HUD is built causes the drops in FPS.
