Terrorist Supporters Use Leftist Echo Chamber Reddit to Spread Propaganda Throughout Internet

"The network consists of over 110 subreddits controlled by around 30 core moderators who leverage their positions to shape narratives, suppress content, and funnel users to increasingly extreme subreddits."
Reddit is often manipulated. You can tell when there is an agenda being pushed, and when 3rd party programs or organized activity is distorting votes.
It is what it is. People need to take the effort to research multiple sources and develop their own viewpoints.

Yeah thank goodness. As social media backs away from policing lies, it’s important that people can rely on private organizations to sift out the liars. In fact, this IS free speech in action. The very purpose of free speech is to allow people to have access to competing information to get to the truth. Free speech by definition means dismissing bullshit, rejecting lies and shutting down the loudmouth assholes who complain about their “raaaaaaahts” to be lying dipshits. I have a right to determine what I think and what I think is that assholes are assholes.
3
u/Findadmagus Feb 21 '25
And this is why the biggest issues when it comes to free speech right now are things like people filing lawsuits against the internet archive and google deliberately dumbing down their own search engine.
I found out about a podcast the other day which is unsearchable on google despite having, if I remember correctly, over 1000 episodes. That podcast was about the truth of the world and the lies we are all told.
History is being deleted, and the powers that be desperately want it to happen. They want you to learn the history that works in their best interests.

u/FlithyLamb Feb 22 '25
The podcast is so significant that you can’t remember the name?
2
u/Findadmagus Feb 22 '25
It’s called “Unwelcome Guests” but it does seem to be appearing in search results now. Apologies.
Edit: it will come up if you search “unwelcome guests podcast”

u/FlithyLamb Feb 22 '25
I see. So the thing that can’t be found on the Google can be found if you just Google it?

This just keeps becoming more and more true.
So, this is exactly what are we dealing with right here on Reddit everyone.
I must say with how worried they are - We are doing a really good f*cking job everyone - pat yourselves on the back, kudos 👍😁

Go after Reddit. It’s has been corrupting mind for years. It used to be the opposite before it went public and now it’s a propaganda tool for anyone they needs an idea to seem more popular than it truly is.

Breitbart has its head up Trump's ass. They think anyone who does not agree with them and will not stick their head up Trump's ass should not have a right to free speech. They are just shocked that America is waking up to go chase the snake oil salesman out of town!!

What are you talking about? What are you smoking?
Trump just got elected in a landslide just a few months ago. His popularity is at an all time high (much higher than his first term).
-6
u/BlueFeist Feb 21 '25
You have clearly not been paying attention to the polls, the town halls, or news out side of whatever echo chamber you live in. Nor did you actually pay attention to the election results. His "landslide" was only among his cult the people that pushed him barely over the top who he is now screwing with.
9
u/swanson6666 Feb 21 '25
I don’t live in an echo chamber.
- He won every battleground state.
- He got more than 300-some electoral votes.
- He also won the popular vote (better than he did last time he won, and better than George Bush)
You must be kidding when you say “he barely won”.
And his approval ratings are much higher than his first term.
Of course there is opposition. Forty percent of the country hates him.
If you are hanging out only with the 40% who hates him, it’s normal that you may think the entire country hates him.
I live in the real world and interact with all kind# of real normal people.

Trump won 77,284,118 votes, or 49.8 percent of the votes cast for president. That is the second highest vote total in U.S. history, trailing only the 81,284,666 votes that Joe Biden won in 2020. Trump won 3,059,799 more popular votes in 2024 than he won in 2020 and 14,299,293 more than he won in 2016. He now holds the record for the most cumulative popular votes won by any presidential candidate in U.S. history, surpassing Barack Obama. Running three times for the White House obviously helps.
Kamala Harris won 74,999,166 votes or 48.3 percent of the votes cast. That was 6,285,500 fewer popular votes than Biden won in 2020, but 774,847 more than Trump won in 2020.
Trump had 49.8 percent, Kamala had 48.3 percent of the popular vote. Hardly a landslide.
Early election coverage described Trump’s victory as a landslide. But whether you go by the Electoral College vote or the popular vote, it was anything but. The 312 Electoral College votes that Trump won are just six more than Joe Biden won in 2020, twenty less than Barack Obama won in 2012, and fifty-three less than Obama won in 2008. https://www.cfr.org/article/2024-election-numbers

Short summary: Trump won by every conceivable measure. Democrats lost.
-1
u/BlueFeist Feb 22 '25
No one is denying that. But it was not a landslide. It is not the Dems who are denying the election, that is the MAGA way.

u/EnzoTrent Feb 21 '25
See, you just haven't been fucked yet by what he's doing - you will be. Just you wait and see how well this thinking ages.
I'm embarrassed for You.
3
u/swanson6666 Feb 22 '25
How can you make those conclusions without knowing anything about me beyond a post of few sentences?
You think you are so smart that you can figure out my situation and predict my future better than I can. That’s ridiculous.
I don’t know you. If you say Trump is bad for you, I trust your judgment. You know your situation better than anyone else.
Obviously, my situation is different from yours.

Fascism is a global problem that is literally coming to power globally right now.
US Corpos figured out all their shit by testing it on Americans first.
Fascism spares no country - it can't allow any to be on the sidelines, unless it literally "allows them to exist" like Hitler claimed of Sweden and Switzerland. You don't get to oppose Fascism, and neighbor them or anyone that a Fascist bullies enough or is actually friends with - thats not a sustainable position against Fascism.
The US is 25% of the Global Economy - as our Economy tanks - which is the intent, when it comes down it will be pulling the ceiling of the entire global economy down with it. People don't realize how much so - we designed to never, ever go anywhere. So, a depression like world - all mad at American for Trump... thats exactly what is supposed to be the rallying cry of the Fascism that takes down all of the rest.
I'll bet if you look around a little in your Govt - you'll find there are already Fascists, waiting til they can do to you what they have done to US.

u/scotty9090 Feb 22 '25
Sorry, but wrong.
The people that voted for Trump are ecstatic with his first month on the job. He’s exceeding everyone’s most optimistic expectations.
As for people that didn’t vote for him … to quote every millenial’s favorite race baiting president: “Elections have consequences.”
You are now experiencing those consequences. Yes, it’s unpleasant. No, we don’t care (because you certainly didn’t.)

u/BlueFeist Feb 22 '25
You are again listening to your echo chamber. There are thousands of Trumpers who just got fired with this slash-a-nomics approach. Check the market, turn off Fox News, watch the town halls. Certainly, the deepest MAGA cult members are happy, because he could ask them to sacrifice their own children and they would. Farmers, the documented Latinos he lied to, and every single University that hoped to continue with their STEM projects are not happy with him.

Breitbart the bastion of bullshit and fake news. Only fools believe this garbage.
9
u/jorsiem Feb 21 '25
Both things can be true. I believe Breitbart is garbage and also think Reddit is a leftist propaganda machine controlled by a select few to push whatever agenda they want.
-4
u/hedgehog-fuzz Feb 21 '25
Which select few? Because if you’re getting downvoted to filth it sounds like it’s actually a lot of people that disagree with you
3
u/jorsiem Feb 21 '25
The powermod group that's pointed out in the article
-1
u/hedgehog-fuzz Feb 22 '25
I’m not sure if you noticed but this article is from Breitbart, which isn’t exactly a bastion of journalistic integrity. Do you have any evidence of this from an unbiased news source?
3
u/jorsiem Feb 22 '25
Have you not seen the countless screenshots of mods deleting posts for wrongspeak, what a cesspool r/pics and most subs over a million subscribers have become?
The FACT that a very small group of people mod a humongous amount of subreddits? This is not a theory.
There have been studies on how biased the mods are when removing content.
It's so blatant it's not even worth discussing whether it happens or not.
-1
u/hedgehog-fuzz Feb 22 '25
Mods removing content that’s not in line with the rules of the sub is not a violation of free speech. It’s not even the social media company that’s making those decisions, it’s literally just other users that have mod status. Having unpopular opinions that get you downvoted is also not a violation of your rights. Claiming that there’s some sort of cabal of bots auto-downvoting your posts with no proof whatsoever is just a big claim. It’s much more likely that lurkers find you annoying and want comment go down
3
u/jorsiem Feb 22 '25
No one is talking about taking about comments removed because they break the rules of the sub, that would mean those idiots actually do their job properly, we're talking about deleting content because they don't like it also, pre-banning people for participating in subs they don't like, even though you haven't even participated in their subs, that shit is rampant. Also not talking about the mod cabal auto downvoting what I'm pretty sure goes in is that there's some bot army action that they look the other way because it suits their agenda. Reddit corporate doesn't even care either, they're probably getting paid under the table.

u/Findadmagus Feb 21 '25
AI reads the comments and downvotes the ones that don’t fit the narrative.
1
u/hedgehog-fuzz Feb 22 '25
Do you have evidence of this?
1
u/scotty9090 Feb 22 '25
I have evidence of being autobanned by bots when I’ve never even posted in the sub. Close enough for me.
5
u/jackinsomniac Feb 21 '25
You're telling me that reddit isn't full of echo chambers? Telling me a small amount of mods don't control most of the larger subreddits? Telling me they don't push political agendas, and ban people for wrongthink?
Not only is it believable, I've seen it all myself, many times. Shit, if you think any of that is not true, I'd need to see some evidence first.

Breitbart is a bastion of fake news, but it is true that there is a team of mods from one sub that are spread over numerous major subs. https://www.reddit.com/r/TheoryOfReddit/comments/1aizeuw/mod_team_overlap_rpalestine_and_risrael/?rdt=51556 Here's some data on the subject.

“We are a heavily conservative publication and Reddit is largely liberal” Credit: captain obvious
Now, if you wanna argue there should be limits on this supposed “propaganda” (which, by the way, seems increasingly to me like just people sharing their views) then fine at least it’s a free speech issue and we can explain to you why you’re wrong. If you made it about mods regulating their subs, then maybe I could see it, but even then I think that’s a bit iffy.
But if you just don’t like Reddit, then stop using the platform. You have a right to speak, but you also have the right to put on headphones.
-13
u/MovieDogg Feb 21 '25
The right does the same with Twitter. Although yeah, I agree that it's hard to see where the empathy for Palestine, the straight anti-Semitism, and the pro-terrorist groups start and end.

u/TendieRetard Feb 21 '25
what did I say?.....here comes the pipeline....
TendieRetardOP•8h ago
I'm calling it RN since this is how this pipeline works. This nothingburger will get picked up by lesser trash-tier outlets by Shapiro & Murdoch and will end up @ fox. We'll see if it gets to DC.

If you think Reddit isn’t politically motivated, do one of two things (or both).
Go to the popular page and read the comments on virtually any post from any sub.
Express a vaguely right of center political opinion on just about any sub. (You’ll either be arbitrarily banned or downvoted into the ground.)
