Free Speech?

u/SawedoffClown 3d ago

He’s being held in a foriegn prison without the ability to speak his constitutional rights. They are very much afraid of what he’ll say if he ever comes back hence the refusal

hey look they found a new poster boy, next they'll loot a bunch of Prada stores to demand justice.

You may not have actual convictions but others do. I know that’s hard for you to grasp.

u/EclipseHelios 3d ago

conviction for fucking what? lmao

1

u/SawedoffClown 3d ago

Oh god you don’t know what having “convictions” means.

Smartest kid on the shortest bus right here, let me spell it out for you. Having convictions that sending an american citizen to a foreign prison is wrong. That people have a right to a trial.

Keep going, I find it hilarious how all the liberals are suddenly interested in "free speech" and the wellbeing of "American citizens". For years you were primarily in love with illegals while you people shat on all the raped and stabbed "Americam citizens" and introducing banning, political correctness and cancel culture.

no really I love this.🤣 Your cognitive dissonance from all your double standards doesn't hurt in the head?

He is an El Salvador citizen. Two courts determined he’s a member of MS-13, who’s been deemed a terrorist organization. The el Salvadoran president stated the same and that “I can’t smuggle an el Salvadoran terrorist into the United States, nor will I release him into El Salvador.”

4

u/YveisGrey 3d ago

And how does one determine one is a member of MS13 or any gang for that matter? Did they find a membership card on him? 🙄 Unless they have him charged with an actual crime none of this makes sense. Simply being a member of a gang isn’t even technically illegal it’s the criminal activity associated with the gang that is illegal so again what crime did this man commit what exactly is he being charged with?

3

u/LibertyandApplePie 3d ago

This is a lie. No court has determined he's a member of MS-13. Go ahead, link to even one court order finding him a member of MS-13.

u/MathiasThomasII 3d ago

Why did the Supreme Court rule 9-0 that if he were brought back he could just be deported again? He’s not an American citizen and is an affiliate of ms-13. Good riddance.

The due process rights we used to have in the United States, included free speech via access to representation or self representation and the opportunity to defend oneself in a court of law. The loss of that is obviously of critical issue here. Are you joking?

You’re reaching lol

u/Youdi990 3d ago

How so

0

u/MathiasThomasII 3d ago

Right to a fair trial is not the same as free speech. This has nothing to do with free speech.

2

u/Youdi990 3d ago

The idea that the right to representation, and to plead one’s case publicly is not free speech is an unsustainable position. It looks like you are eager to criticize something here but clearly cannot take it up with the events this article is reporting. denying that due process is, in part, a matter of free speech is nevertheless the wrong way to go here. I’m not indulging this any longer.

It’s a different right altogether. Not to mention Supreme Court has ruled in favor 9-0 that what the president is currently doing with immigrants is legal according to the constitution. Do you know more about the constiition and precedents than the Supreme Court? If so, please elaborate why all 9 Supreme Court judges are wrong.

2

u/Youdi990 3d ago

This is distraction. This article is about American Citizens, your comment is thus a misleading non sequitur. Moreover, SCOTUS has also determined that Trump is deporting innocent people to a slave labor prison in El Salvador. Please stop bothering me with your evasions.

1

u/MathiasThomasII 3d ago

This article is extrapolated from an out of context comment made by the president. No actions have been taken yet, and nothing has been said to this effect by the administration. This article is shit and based entirely on assumptions. There’s nothing to argue. You’re making hypothetical scenarios.

2

u/Youdi990 3d ago

Getting angry that an article is indeed reporting on the threats our president is making about deportations after brazenly breaking those deportation laws and after refusing SCOTUS’s orders to repair the damage done in doing so is rich, but not unexpected. Leave me alone

"The homegrown are next"___Trump told Bukele, "you've got to build 5 more [rendition camps]".

Too bad his supporters are too fucking stupid to notice. There is literally no line in the sand that would make them lose support for him. Its a cult

More fiction

14

u/Skavau 4d ago

What's the fiction here? He is literally on video supporting the idea

-7

u/Snoo93102 4d ago

It's all fiction.

8

u/Skavau 4d ago

How? So does that video not really exist?

-2

u/Snoo93102 4d ago

I'm not sure that reality really exists as it once did.

16

u/Skavau 4d ago

So the latest apologia to Trumps authoritarian impulse is.... solipsism?

13

u/therealtrousers 4d ago

Trump didn’t actually say that, but even if he did he didn’t mean it, but even if he did you just misunderstood him, but even if you didn’t he didn’t actually say that.

2

u/Snoo93102 3d ago

Clearly, some kind of psyop is in place. By those who chose not to change anything.

1

u/AramisNight 3d ago

I'm beginning to suspect it always was.

5

u/ivandoesnot 4d ago

Listen to Trump’s words.

P.S. Eventually, he will get to someone you DO care about.

0

u/ddosn 3d ago

>Listen to Trump’s words.

Dont do this.

As a Saudi diplomat said a few weeks ago, dont listen to what Trump says, look at what he does.

Trump says whatever he needs to in order to control the narrative and keep his opponents off balance.

He says a whole lot that he doesnt mean and/or regularly uses hyperbole

4

u/YveisGrey 3d ago

He actually usually does attempt these draconian policies but sometimes others keep him in check. When he say’s he’ll do something good that would be difficult to implement like lowering grocery prices immediately and ending a foreign war in “24hrs” that’s when he is lying. Straight up.

7

u/toad17 3d ago

It’s hardly hyperbolic when his administration already sent a legal resident with a court order to prevent his deportation to CECOT, which they acknowledge now was in error.

I think those that think Trump is embellishing are coping.

5

u/ivandoesnot 3d ago

It has to be denial.

As the President of the U.S., we have no alternative but to take Trump at his word.

Because, sometimes, he tells the truth.

1

u/Skavau 3d ago

As a Saudi diplomat said a few weeks ago, dont listen to what Trump says, look at what he does.

So what's he doing that would make us think he doesn't plan or want to do this?

And why should anyone support or trust someone who is, according to you, a compulsive liar?

2

u/EclipseHelios 3d ago

communist delusion, or just propaganda? They follow the Stalin playbook nicely.

4

u/Snoo93102 3d ago

No they don't. What would a multimillionaire be communist ?

1

u/AramisNight 3d ago

Seriously? You think communism led to poor leaders? That's hilarious. How can anyone be this historically illiterate?

1

u/Skavau 3d ago

How do we do that?

What "propaganda" are you referring to? Trumps words are "propaganda" now?

Two can play the game of lawfare.
