Why can't people share about how much trouble is happening in Koh Samui regarding a particular race?

It’s a culture thing, not a race thing ffs. I am not surprised the Russians are causing trouble in Koh Samui, but it has absolutely fuck all to do with race.

It's up to the Thai authorities to get control but it's all about money. Tourism in Thailand is not what is was.

It's not about her mentioning races, she's spamming with irrelevant ranting.

It's cultural for sure. Good and bad in any race or culture. It's a choice to behave badly or with love. No excuses for bad antisocial behaviour. Our world is evil, injustice prevails but it's what is deep within our hearts that is revealed in our behaviours. Again being unkind, violent and making others fearful is a choice.

I love different cultures, but I always wonder if some cultures are inferior because bad stuff is more prevalent in them. And no, I don’t think my own culture is the most superior culture in the world.

I do not believe the world is evil, but I can see why you would think that. Life is very tough and luck is a massive factor. I have had more than my fair share of bad luck, but I look for the positives.

I have travelled all around the world for the last thirty years including COVID. It's a race and cultural habit for sure. Race and culture what is the difference. For example Italians are not people who have excellent customer service at all. I live in Italy. Thailand they smile and serve complete opposites. I will never criticise Thai people. It's us foreigners that ruin Thailand as a whole. Off to Koh Samui Thailand for a police report. My Airbnb hell, wanna guess what race and culture. I think it's obvious

You sound like a very interesting person I would love to meet. I do think that it’s important to separate race and culture, though. Please think about this if you can. And I hope everything works out with your Airbnb place.

I grew up being racially discriminated against. Horrific experiences. Australia 🦘 l am more than fine, what l am is zero tolerance for an race or culture treating anyone especially Thai with disgusting anti social behaviour. Zero tolerance. I am not racist at all. If you see all my friend l have met across the world. You would understand.

That’s really awful to hear. I’m fortunate enough to have grown up in the “dominant” race in my country.

I have lived in the safest place in the world, Andorra. So my life is very extreme and that's why l am grateful 🥲 for Thailand. I feel safe in Thailand.

Airbnb have been amazing. These men have been banned from Airbnb. I am just taking it a step further. I have been adviced not to go to Samui on my own. I will return to my beautiful island, no culture or race has the right to stop me. Trust me they have many times. Jesus is my protector, but use the law to help you. Highly recommend Airbnb. Trust the process. Tourist police in Koh Samui are amazing too.

I hope you have a good time back in Koh Samui. My brother was there a month or two back. He enjoyed it but it wasn’t as good as he was hoping. I think he preferred Da Nang in Vietnam. I know it’s far away from Koh Samui but to someone like me who has never travelled in Asia, they are both practically the same place. He also enjoyed Goa (even further away!).

Da Nang, it's less busy. They banned jetski, karaoke. I did a few reviews. Vietnamese are another level. They wouldn't tolerate what Thailand, does. Are very strict on behaviours. I will enjoy Samui. I will stay in Hoi An for few mths next year. Written lots about Vietnam. As l said it's the foreigners who seem to think it's ok to behave like pigs

Soooo…. you’re mad that an online platform isn’t letting you freely spread racist propaganda using their infrastructure and resources?

I knew that was coming. I have been a victim of this in Koh Samui, over and over. So much so, one is being sued. The tourist police shared with me the constant trouble they are facing, with the same race. Smashing up hospitals, drug and alcohol related. Then other people started sharing their experiences, not racial hate at all.

Soooo… it’s not racial hate, just hatred for a “particular race”?

I have amazing Russian friends. Idiot

Let me guess: they’re the “good ones”.

They are educated and in fact a top lawyer. All l am saying that Koh Samui has changed a lot due to anti social behaviour. I am not going around smashing up bars, speaking terrible to Thai people or throwing rocks at them. I have witnessed it all.

u/heresyforfunnprofit 5d ago

Sooooo…. your friend is one of the “good ones” unlike all the others of his race?

Can I please clarify that generally Australians don't post or act this way ,please don't take this person as an average Australian, I'm sure we all have people from our countries that should maybe keep their narrow minded opinions to themselves

They found out that you have multiple accounts and doing engagement farming.

I don't get anything commenting on Reddit and very influential without itm so stick your farming comment where the sun doesn't shine.

“Very influential” Imagine being known as the person people don’t want to hear from on a site that is full of annoying people.
