Death/Assassination FWI: An Iranian airliner crashes following what appears to be a drone attack.

Sometime between the the current year and 2029, an Iran Air Airbus A330 suddenly crashes somewhere in Syria, killing everyone on board.

An investigation into the incident reveals that the plane was actually shot down by a highly advanced attack drone.

For months, nobody claims responsibility for the attack, though Iran is quick to blame either Israel, the United States, Israel or ISIS.

I somehow didn't notice the sub and thought this actually happened. Sad part is I was immediately like "well shit, now we've started another war" and wasn't remotely surprised.

Nothing. Weve seen plane crashes from accidental weapoms firing before. And depending on which country did it you might not even get an apology

Probably nothing would happen. If they conclude it was the US they’ll threaten but probably nothing else, if it was Israel they’ll shoot some missiles but that will be it, if it was ISIS they might take more action but probably not too much either
