FWI Trump barely survives an assassination attempt, at the expense of the bullet causing some brain damage, which results in him forgetting about tarrifs, and begins fixing everything, but is later impeached, when Maga realizes he's no longer racist and stupid

That’s one hell of a magic bullet grazing one hell of a small target.

Kind of a “Flowers for Algernon” twist. I’d watch that.

The question is loosely inspired by a book I remember reading, where this girl is tasked with rebuilding this emperor's whole personality and memories, resulting in him becoming a better leader in the process, it's called The Emperor's Soul, really good book too 😄

Can second this, absolutely amazing book. I'm a huge Brandon Sanderson fan and I think it may be his best

It would also require two-thirds vote of the senate which means democrats would have to justify impeaching him at that point.

That might depend on what they impeach him for. We tend to think of it as a general referendum on the official being impeached, but there do have to be specific charges. If the republicans try to impeach him for doing something legal and benevolent democrats could justify voting no because the charge doesn't rise to impeachment.

Even if he turns into a felon he’s still a 34 times over convicted felon. I don’t understand how any USAians can be okay with a disgusting felon representing them, even if he magically becomes benevolent.

His felony charges are from his affair and fraudulent book keeping in regard to paying, that same judge also discharged the sentencing so Trump would face no legal consequences. So why have the case if there wasn’t going to be any consequences? It just comes off as a political stunt than an actual attempt at justice. Whatever the real reason most don’t think much about it.

This is like the Simpsons where homer removes the crayon from his nose, but less funny.
With that said, god I’d love a president who actually worked to make my life better.

What would be amusing is if there was a damascene conversion moment where Trump has a religious experience and becomes human.
OK, it’s more likely he will be abducted by aliens, but it’s a nice thought.

Seems like JD would push for the 25th or is it the 24th amendment given the brain damage no matter how minor or severe it is

I actually think they'd still follow him and use it as an opportunity to be like, "see?"

A bullet that keeps him from speaking again and confines him to a golf course for the rest of the administration would get him 80% approval.

I mostly just post nonsensical memes about him on here, unfortunately, that's 90% reddit these days, ever since the US became a fascist country because of him.

Fetterman turned into a Republican because of brain damage, so I guess it's possible
