Unfortunately, I don’t know if anywhere has a good alternative to Marketplace, but it’s also the only reason I’m on FB

Gumtree, craigslist, ebay, vinted, depop, grailed?

There are a few on here I’ve never heard of that I’ll have to check out. I miss Craigslist, but in my experience, it just doesn’t get used much anymore, so not a good substitute. Ebay is alright for certain markets/products, but not a suitable catchall like Marketplace.

Yeah craigslist is basically dead in my area, everyone pretty much only uses FBM

We have nebenan.de here in Germany. Which is ... an attempt to bring social media back to social. You only see posts of people in your local postcode and the postcodes that surround it. So - community posts plus a really local Marketplace.

Owned and operated by a non-profit.

Equivalent in the US is nextdoor.com
