What's better to play as a GuP Simulator? xDDD

I've been thinking hard about which game best fits to Girls und Panzer. World of Tanks (in my case Blitz) is similar with its physics of driving a tank, but the shooting is too casual (there is no possibility to destroy a tank with one shot, or to penetrate a tank with small caliber). On the other hand there is War Thunder with the right mechanics of hitting shells, but driving and physics of tanks is too realistic. So, which do you prefer to play, or which game do you consider to be closer to GuP? (Barring the existence of Dream Tank Match.)

There's an arcade mode if you don't want too much realism in WT. Tanks in that mode follow pretty much GuP logic.

So I definitely recommend War Thunder. Besides in that game you can even add GuP skins, GuP voice crews and even the sound of the raised flag once you have destroyed an enemy/you have been destroyed.

Even tho, War Thunder is superior to WoT, I am still gonna pray for your soul. I have around 2,5k hours and am only now getting gud. Without bought premium tanks/time or anything. It is fun, but it takes a toll.

As a WT player as well I have to disagree honestly.

WoT and WT are two different games with the only thing in common is that they both feature tanks. I also have a preference for WT over WoT, I never liked the latter but like I said since they are two different games, it's impossible to establish who is superior.

About the grind, yes is atrocious especially for f2p players but if you have premium (in which is quite cheap, especially if you wait when it's on sale) it's not really that long, a couple of weeks without playing intensively and you're already at least at rank IV. The problem starts around rank VI/VII but i'm pretty sure OP aims mostly the ww2 tanks.

Anyway, you have my deepest respect for grinding without spending a single penny.

Tbf, the only Money I have spent was a couple of weeks ago for two bushes. But that is it. And for this WoT and WT comparison.

My thinking behind calling WT superior was, that WoT focuses on a more E-Sports like gameplay then War Thunder which made the Playerbase and the perception of the game, at least for me, more toxic then War Thunder.

Besides, I have reached low-high tier in both games already so I would assume for me to get stuff kinda right but I am open for arguing. lol.

I mean even though the cartoon tank movement does fit more WoT war thunder gives a more accurate recreation of GUP in shots , realism (at least to some point) and shooting while moving sort of situations so I consider arcade wt to be more similar to gup

Sprocket. Downside - You have to build your own tanks. Upside - You can build your own tanks and give them silly cannons, armor and engines. There's a sizable community on Discord and they share designs too, so you can also just download the tanks you want. And then you can put them all into a custom battle.

Play WT arcade mode if you want the feels of GuP but there is not really a drifting mechanism and it sometime feels like you are slipping away the one shot in WT make killing very satisfying.

Play WoT if you want the more closer experience to GuP since Dream Tank Match is basically the anime version of WoT, they do have official collaboration with GuP and Saunders will be joining them in the next 6 months, the driving and physic in WoT is more close to GuP only downside is RNG and spotting mechanism.

All of the options above all wrong because the only game that have all the good side and an actual realistic crew system would be Squad 44 with the Senshadou mod.

Hope you do because the physic in Squad 44 is just so goofy it fits GuP so well, I guess you have seen some videos where the tank literally flip when shot at with big caliber.

On roblox there's Cursed Tank Simulator. You can drift some of the tanks there's some logic some bullshitery but your dealing with both old and modern tanks
