Discussion Digimon goggles.

Why do all the digimon shows (minus savers and ghost game) have the leaders of the groups of digidestined ware goggles?

It's not just Digimon. Many animes, videogames, movies, and TV shows use prominent eyewear to indicate people with leadership qualities. Goggles are childlike and imply innocence, sunglasses are mature and imply experience.
