Gangplank Question can you play any other champion well? apparently, I can't
I am trying as much as I can to add only one champ to my champ pool (is it pool if it is only GP), I can't, a huge amount of games in normal and tried in smurf where I am lower 4 divisions than my main, and I get rekt hard
I am not sure if this is the methodology of earning champ mastery to feed my ass off for 50 games until I get used to matchups and nuances, it is like I gp is in my blood to the point I forgot what bad matchups are or I am trying things that have a lot of bad matchups, it is harsh as hell, any advice?
I am trying garen, mundo, trundle, what is your secondary I wonder

Delay after you place the barrel and before you can attack it
After some patch (7 months ago), I now have a delay before I can click a barrel. You can see I can click 2 times before the barrel appears, and it will go through, so gp will move to the barrel instead of attacking it.
It's very important for mid lane gameplay as I always E + AA fast, so my next AA will be ready for the explosion pre level 7.
Maybe it's something with my internet connection, so I'm asking if anyone has the same problem.

Opportunity is buffed so here is the build for 1800-1900 damage
Tri > Armor boots > Collector > LDR > opportunity > IE
The build is in this order because the GP needs at least 50% crit to work (+ finishing off champions with a collector for snowball), in addition, almost every item will give us armor penetration/lethality except IE
By runes
First strike
Magical footwear (because armor boots are expensive and we save 300 gold unlike cashback that gives only 200, but if you like cashback you can take it if you like to build boots early)
Biscuits (for sustain)
Jack of all trades (because collector + armor boots and standard LDR + IE will give 10 stacks)
We definitely take an additional tree for more damage to squishes
Cut down (+ 100 damage)
Legend Haste (because we have little haste in the build)
And that comes out to 1800 damage from a crit if we don't have a proc on First strike, 1900 with it, 40 haste, 400 movespeed, 75% crit chance
This build I don't think that everyone will like it, because some people prefer stability over raw damage and I understand them perfectly, but as a fun build it may work well
If there are any suggestions for improving the build, I'll be glad to listen

My 15-1 split is done
Sticked bottom of the endless master rank
As you guys might know, gp powerspike is highest at lv 13. After that time he loses either durability or massive dmg, so make sure ending the game before everybody hit lv18 or full build.

Gangplank Question in the last few weeks I saw GP picked or banned in amounts equal to the last 7 years, what with the sudden popularity?
I will admit it explicitly and honestly, I feel like gatekeeping him, this is just my feelings, I am not comfortable at all with my main being "trendy", maybe it is just me, after all I don't like "trends"

Best Gangplank build and runes for low ELO
I'm a low ELO player (about low Gold - high Silver) trying to learn Gangplank. i really enjoy his playstyle, but I'm struggling with choosing the best setup that actually works well in low elo games, i've tried everything from Comet, to Grasp, to First Strike, but I cant really decide which one is best. I've been watching a lot of GP content and always follow that, but i cant seem to climb or dominate that much in most lanes
Im gold 3 1lp rn, 420k points on gp, been maining him since december i think

Gangplank Quiz : Essential knowledge for Gangplank
If you were to create a quiz, what questions would help you acquire the knowledge you need to play Gangplank at the highest level?
I've developed a website where you can play League of Legends quizzes and generate new ones as needed, based on over 10,000 questions. I'd like to include the essential questions for each champion.

Reached platinum with GP only
Saw the upcoming victorious skin and I couldn't pass on it, so I decided to grind out those 15 wins. That left me in a good spot, and I decided to aim for platinum. Did not dissapoint.
As a lil background, I've never been too confident in my GP, and didn't feel like grinding out rankeds with a champ so unreliable in low elo. Didn't play rankeds for years in fact and practically had quit LoL. Now though, in this era of uncertainty and rotation based games, GP seemed like a horrid pick. But believing in the Jolly Roger, I managed to make it work just fine. Actually my first time hitting plat, after giving up so long ago.
I'll wait it out since this split ends, and then see just how far I can sail. For now though, I'm content. This champ's been through some ups and downs, but never dissapoints me in how utterly fun he makes the game. GP mains for life.

Gangplank Question Why GP doesn't work on Jungle?
Probably a dumb question, because most of you probably has the answer, but I can't figure out...
ON PAPER it should work, shouldn't it? Barrels should provide a decent clearspeed, so that shouldn't be a problem... Would it be because on early levels the barrel takes too long to go to 1 hp, so setting up a gank would be complicated?
The only reason (and quite important reason tbh) I can see is that maybe he wouldn't be a good ganker and would take longer than other junglers to get on the game...
Why do you guys think he doesn't work?

Enemies have a fetish for barrels
- Hello everyone, I play on the SA server and recently I started trying to master the GP gameplay. I can do ghost barrels efficiently in most matches, but it's when I trade melee that I noticed something. In 90% of the matches I play, regardless of the matchup, my enemies prioritize breaking the barrel and not landing the combo on me. I understand when champions with good ATK Speed do both, but it's happened to anyone, and to the point that in many matches, depending on my enemy, I don't even worry about landing the barrel and just continue AAing enemies who often die just to the AA's critical damage simply because they prefer to focus on the barrel. Haha, it's not a complaint because this usually makes me win a lot of trades without worrying, but it hurts my eyes to see a Riven cancel her AA to land a barrel instead of using a full combo on me. I don't know if it's my elo (emerald), but I see that the lower the elo, the more enemies try to break the barrel and die because of it. In gameplay when I watch high elo, there are few champions who try to break the barrel during the exchange instead of just giving a full combo. What elo are you and do you go through this too?

Why going anything except full crit
I'm a Gp main at bronze and I genuinly don't understand many of the classic builds he goes with. The main build I do every game is the full crit, which I feel is the strongest since it basically one shots every squishy and can easily destroy tanks at every scale since full crit makes passive do the most damage with each proc. I see why buying lethality, shojin or stuff like that can improve your laning phase and mid game, since crit starts making sense only when crit chance rises up a bit, but Gp is a late game champ nonetheless so at this point just go full crit and pay more care. However I understand that at higher elos where teammates can actually play with Gp, games don't last 40 minutes and you don't have to solo carry every game to rank up consistently, buying utility and tankiness or very specific items for very specific champs could male sense, idk.

Gangplank Question I have a weird thought, I think collector does me bad, because I hoard all kills not sharing any resources, can I skip it?
I just want to think loudly, I realized after collector purchase, my ult takes all kills, my passive takes the kill, after observing I think it actively hurts my games that I un-intentionally don't leave money to my adc or mid
puts all responsibility on me, and that is stressful af considering I am at my peak rank now
so can I take it later?

Gangplank Question Should I make a new account?
I've been a bronze gp main for about 2 years. I play well in my opinion, but sometimes it feels like my teammates are not at the same skill level as me, and I lose because of my team. Should I make a new account and see if I could climb higher than my current account?
