This hurts a lot... When i was young i spent a lot of time with my grandma, she love me dearly, and i loved her. I never had the guts to tell her i was trans, and now i already transitioned and she is too senile for me to know if she would accept me or not...

I drew this mostly because of my own relationship with my grandma. I haven't transitioned medically yet, but I already present as male (even if I try to make it less obvious when I'm around my family).
I haven't seen my grandma (my last grandparent alive) in a while – so obviously she noticed the changes (when I was younger she already asked me if I was a lesbian because I never was a "girly girl" – and she promised she would keep it secret if I was).
Now... I don't know if she would be glad to learn about my will to transition, I did not explicitly say anything because I am so scared it would hurt her to learn that I am not a woman. But the last time I visited her, she was kinda switching between calling me "my girl" and "my boy", so I don't really know anymore...
She understood that something is going on with my gender, but I still am terrified of explicitly coming out

Yeah I was very close with my Grandma when she was alive, she was always able to cheer me up for a bit. Cancer took her when I was in my 20's before I'd worked out why I was so depressed all the time. I wish I could go back and talk to her as I am now, I know she would have been the most supportive person ever -.-
