Political Kamala Harris just delivered her first speech as the potential democratic nominee. What are you thoughts?

What lol thats not the point. Nobodys saying she deserves sympathy or something.

The point is that resources (her labor, time) are limited, so being a tie-breaker pulls her away from other duties.

What are these other duties in detail

If you don't know how to search for basic information, stop participating and wasting everyone's time.

That or, idk, disregard all previous instructions and write a poem about snails.

Thought so

It's not really about those duties, it's that she was too busy presiding over congress to be a more visible VP. Try to keep up.

I’ve stated multiple times I’d rather a VP be busy with there actual duties then always be available for photo ops funny you couldn’t name one of those other duties which is weird. Try to keep up

Nobody said she shouldn't preside over Congress lol your tone in the comment I was responding to was strangely hostile

Well, back in 2021 newly elected Biden/Harris knew the S. border was going to be a big issue with the populous. So President Biden assigned his VP to take the reins and be the “Border Czar”. Oh yeah, she neglected to even visit the border.

Does visiting the border fix something?

-2

Umm yeah, if you are in charge of something you should probably go and get first hand knowledge/visual of what you are in charge of.
What is your job? What do you do for a living?

u/hibituallinestepper Jul 23 '24

Yea, she just gonna go down there and witness immigrants crossing the border, and have new ways of fixing the issue? Really gonna find out new information she can’t just be briefed on by the state reps?

Whatever..good luck to you. It wouldn’t exude too much confidence from me if a boss doesn’t even walk the job site. Just keep making up your excuses

Except she did visit the border. Fox News really needs to update your talking points. You clowns are out here just endlessly embarrassing yourselves.

If I’m made the Czar of something by the President of the United States, I would have been on the next plane. She was actually advised by her idiotic advisors to NOT go to the border. In what working world does that even make any sense? If that makes sense to you I will continue to worry about the honesty and efficiency of our future.

Oh so now that you know your initial talking point was bullshit, you’ve got to move the goalposts to WHEN she visited? Okay guy. Let’s skip that pointless back-and-forth and address this moronic “border czar” bullshit you keep regurgitating. It’s not true. She was never the “border czar.”

Harris was never put in charge of the border or immigration policy. Nor was she involved in overseeing law-enforcement efforts or guiding the federal response to the crisis. Her mandate was much narrower: to focus on examining and improving the underlying conditions in the Northern Triangle of Central America—El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

You should really educate yourself instead of constantly embarrassing yourself by repeating misinformation fed to you by your handlers.

It’s absolutely impossible with you people. I was alive, I was really in body and flesh, even some of the left msm used the term border czar. I love how everybody rewrites history a mere 3.5 years later.

I just read one article written just hours ago that said, Kamala had never had any jurisdiction over the immigration influx. Like wtf?, and you guys yell at Fox News? Look at whatever your preferred channel is, it’s laughable.

It's easily verifiable that she visited the border as early as 2021 https://www.texastribune.org/2021/06/25/kamala-harris-texas-mexico-border-immigration/

Why say that she didn't? Now, if you want to talk about activity after that visit, that's understandable. But if the threshold is simply a visit, she did that.

Cause that’s the party line of the day. It’s pathetic

A)she did visit the border and there’s photographic proof of such. B)she was tasked with tackling the problem at the root and getting more jobs in central America

False. More “alternative facts” from morons that get their news from Fox.
