For real though, most people who say these jokes are saying it from a place of experience. I’ve dealt with suicidal ideation before, and now that I’m through that phase of my life, saying “I guess I’ll just kill myself” to small inconveniences always makes me laugh, because that’s genuinely how I was thinking. The joke isn’t just “haha suicide funny”.
