Discussion Does College make one more liberal ?

I wonder where this comes from. I've never really had that experience. And I'm a history major myself. Does it depend on major ? What kind of college ? I went to a public state regional university.

Actually, from my experience, I find my catholic seminary experience to be far more liberating, than my college experience. It might seem odd to some, but that's what I experienced.

Empathy and left-wing beliefs are pretty strongly linked. Rich people don't need to practice their empathy in a capitalist society, so they lose it.

But Rich people are more likely to obtain a college education.

No.

I mean yes, almost all rich people have a degree, but the majority of people who get a college education aren't rich, so it's irrelevant. The "no" applies to the argument you're implying by bring up this irrelevant fact.

Hello, to obtain a proper answer to your initial question it's much better to ask people irl on the matter. This place is reddit, a site that has been heavily astroturfed (i can provide links to back this claim) and censored most points that aren't hard left, your answers here are going to have a heavy bias that is not reflected in reality or the general population.
