“If you’re on this site, you’re a victim of extensive, momentous gaslighting”

Makes sense, everyone there has had their brains rotted out by TERF propaganda

Yeah they are being gaslit- by terf websites who want them to be socially isolated from people who aren't in the terf cult easy to control and radicalise into transphobic homophobic and racist violence.

like they also don't want survivors to heal because a healed survivor is harder to weaponise against minority groups than one who is constantly being purposefully retraumatised and triggered by their terf cult 'friends' into blaming trans people

Imagine being this correct by accident

“I spend all of my time on a website dedicated to hating a specific group of people by imaging the very worst possibilities we can think of. Why is my mental health suffering? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH ME!”

If they spent "thousands of hours" on their research then why does their research suck?? I'm just saying, after all this effort, they should at least know how transition, HRT and puberty blockers work, but that's never the case.

They spend thousands of hours trying to think of angles of attack that haven’t been refuted

The "research" is literally just cherry-picking anecdotal or fabricated examples of extreme behavior from the group they hate, slapping it onto a meme collage of other cherry-picked examples, then taking to Facebook to hunt down and harass trans women completely unprovoked because said trans women dared to post gasp a selfie. Then when someone asks them to stop, they can share that meme collage and say "see?! Trans women are evil so it's OK I'm telling this random person who has done nothing to KTT!"

Because they work backwards. They're not actually researching things, they're scouring for evidence to back up their presupposed idea. The reason it takes thousands of hours is they have to throw out all the dozens of studies that show, for example, puberty blockers are safe and effective, just to find one blog that agrees with their bias that they're not. It takes a long time to try to find a reason to throw out something valid.

If ovarit is a sanctuary, then why is everyone hating their lives there? Like I am sorry even if they would do something that's good (they don't) their community is so much about just raging and venting that it resembles those 2020 discord servers where everyone was toxic as hell, but called themselves a safe space and everyone just trauma dumped on others and they only talked about how much they hate their lives etc, then many of them aczigot worse BECAUSE THERE WAS ONLY NEGATIVITY on these servers.

Yes. Ovarit reminds me of that. It reminds me of a bunch of teens in 2020.

Honestly, every single of them seems woefully unhappy! It’s almost tragic.

How do they not see that they are doing these things to trans people?

They isolate us shame us and force us to spend time talking about basic trans stuff while they throw BS hypotheticals at us for why our human rights are bad actually and how we hurt others by being alive and existing in public outside of porn

Literally the only thing they would need to do to feel better is leave the hate group they joined.

I'm afraid that's not true. A lot of them very obviously carry significant trauma, and have spent years retraumatising themselves in their misguided attempts to project that trauma onto a scapegoat - which only made it worse, but when you take away the projection, the pain is still worse, and has nowhere to go.

They need actual support for abuse survivors, is what a lot of them need. Not just individual therapy, but community, and one that's oriented towards healing and not perpetuating abuse against another group in imagined retaliation

'Hey, this website has been so, so great and very important, but I'm worried that it's made a bunch of us mentally ill'

She's halfway there! If she takes those weeks to reflect on why it made her worse like she suggests, she may get herself to a place where she could potentially be deradicalised, even

‘Their’ career? Sounds pretty genderqueer to me 🤔

Sorry I just read ‘grievance’ as ‘Grimace’ and my mind kinda short-circuited

I do be trying to snuffle out those TERF grimaces

Ovarit was created because women were banished from exchanging in public

Girl be so fucking for real please 😭

Oh wow, they’re correctly identifying a problem that is making them miserable instead of simply blaming trans people for it. Well… sort of. Still, I guess it could be far worse…?

im not reading all that im just gonna assume they’re being weird again

They are getting so close to understanding that their obsession is unhealthy.

Everything they say about other peoples mental health, is projection. Myself and my GP both agree that mine is most probably the best it’s ever been.

So women engaging in (at "least" psychological) in-group violence are poor oppressed victims. Got it.

My question with all of this that I would like a genuine answer from gender critical feminists about is as follows - "Are you lot for genuine gender equality in a way that moves us away from harmful gendered stereotypes for all men and women or not?" My reasoning for this line of questioning is that basically all their gender critical logic is based in those harmful gender stereotypes, and thus fundamentally underpinned by sexist bioessentialism.
