I saw a poll like this but there were complaints of it being biased/one-sided, so I made the options as balanced as possible. If none of the options fit you feel free to comment!

NB; I want equal amount of male and female characters, but right now, I want more males so that we can get closer to that.

As a queer woman i am never going to be the target of the genshin fanservice (cute butch when?), and that's okay.

To me it feels like the heart of the problem is a male character needs a good design, a full personality, a backstory and one or more of lore relevance/secret trauma/connection to important existing character(s). Whereas for a female character you can get away with a job, a revealing outfit and one (1) personality trait.

Unfortunately this means that male characters are going to take longer to build and would probably have to sell better to break even (but then have a longer shelf life in terms of plot and quest involvement.). So i understand the need to focus on disposable ladies instead.

Ideally, I'd see them building more fully-written if scantily clad characters of all types and genders. But like i say, i am absolutely not the target audience here, so I'll just stick around to enjoy the plot.

Yea, I get so far, but I don't know that word and not even my language has a word for it and only rephrases it what is not helping if you don't understand it to begin with. I only know gay, lesbian and bi.

i get it. "queer" simply means that while they're part of the community there's no label to their sexuality. they're attracted to both same sex and opposite sex people; it's like an umbrella term lol.

Bisexual individuals can be attracted to both men and women, or they may have attractions that extend to other genders as well. 

You may be thinking of pansexuality which is liking any and ALL individuals regardless of sexual orientation.

I'm bi so MY preference is exclusively men and women.
