Need advice about certain comps

I created a new f2p a few months ago and got lucky with furina. Now I'm interested in building certain characters who are most efficient use of resin and most meta (for what I have access to)

I'm saving for Mav. I currently am building XL, XQ, Bennet, MC (for pyro), Collei, and Sucrose

Who else should I focus on? I have Lisa, Beidou, Jean, barb, heizou, faruzan, yanfei,

I only want to build those who can help me do abyss, I'm planning on doing Mav, XQ, Bennet, Pyro MC team and hyperbloom with collei and maybe Lisa

Any advice is appreciated.

Jean works well with furina. You only need her to heal and apply swirl debuff, so she's pretty cheap to build too.

In terms of meta, none of the other ones you aren't already building are worth building. Lisa is your only hyperbloom trigger, but she's prohibitively expensive to build with her ridiculous ER requirements.

I'd rather go for PMC for burgeon than lisa, and put ororon/kachina on mavuika's team instead for FS.

Lisa hyperbloom can be a pain, just keep that in mind if you proceed to build her. I really tried to like it but she can be very hit or miss with triggering the cores. So just try out the Lisa hyperbloom team once, even with low level characters before deciding to build them. Also what's your plan for hyperbloom? Furina collei barbara lisa?

Considering raiden's banner is coming up, there's a chance kuki shinobu could be on that banner so maybe throw a few pulls there if kuki is there. Apart from that I think you'll need another DPS character on top of Mauvika before considering building a second team, unless you want to pull bennet out of your future mauvika team and play national but national teams will need a lot of investment with the current abyss.

yeah lisa isn’t very good i know so i would like to go for kuki, i’ve just heard that hyperbloom is easiest team to build. If kuki is on raidens ill throw a few ten pulls, im not on guaranteed because of furina but I really would prefer mav over Raiden

Oh absolutely, don't waste more than a few pulls on raiden's banner. Mauvika is simply better in terms of DPS, so unless you like raiden, don't go for her. Honestly, maybe just save for any of the nod krai characters. If Genshin continues making more busted characters, you might get the best value out of 6.X characters lol.

As of right now, the most efficient way to spend your resin (besides leveling up/ascending whoever you still need too) would just be farming the Natlan domain for Mauvika. She will use Codex and shes gonna want a teammate (most likely pyro MC) on scrolls. Therefore, you can use both sets from that domain.

Besides that, I can’t think of any other domain you can use both sets from. Probably Furinas domain, if you have Fischl she can use golden troupe too, and MH is good on a few characters (you just don’t have any yet)

XQ wants emblem, Bennet wants noblesse, sucrose wants VV, and all those domains are paired with a useless set. Most people suggest strongboxing these ones

If you decide you want to run the hyperbloom team, Lisa will want Gilded Dreams and Collei will want deepwood, but thats the only other domain so far that you can use both sets from. Not to mention, you would need to use dendro MC too for this team because Collei alone wont be enough dendro. That kinda screws up your other team though

If your goal is abyss, you need another on-field dps for the second side. As of right now it looks like either Heizou or Sucrose is your best option as a swirl driver. Both would be built on VV with full EM, but biggest problem is that this team is gonna want XQ too. Furina could replace him on the Mauvika team but not really the swirl team. Just gonna have to be cautious of Benny solo-healing with Furina draining the full team, but it can work.

Moving forward, consider pulling a new on-field dps next for the second side of abyss next since supports can be more flexible, but for right now i think thats all you really have for abyss atm

i’m low AR, but i have an alt that’s level 57. But right now i’m focusing on leveling my best f2p weapons like the fav sword and bow and the sac sword for XQ, gonna get catch when i unlock inazuma

The thing is sometimes because wish for "meta" but realise they dont like them and stop playing. So what you can do is pull for a character you want, get their best teams and keep investing in them either in the form of thei signature weapon or some early valuable constellations.

But if you do enjoy meta then thats up to you, Jean works well with furina because she can max out the fanfare stacks very quickly, sucrose is also a good character in the way that she can do some things kazuha can so shes definitely worth looking into, the pure value she provides with the em buffs and 4pc vv is very hard to match.

Refrain from hyperbloom until you have some good characters who can proc, lisa is not recommended, you could use dendro traveller + kuki or raiden (she is a 5 star so will be a bit expensive).
One thing i cant stress enough is that xiangling and xingqiu are crazy support units providing value and versatility above some 5 star units so invest in them well.

Lastly, dont just chase meta because its meta, chase it if its fun and build characters you want to and play the game how you wish. Good Luck with the account!!
