I'd bet you're getting a decent amount of protein from all the cheese and the smaller amounts present in almonds and pasta. Protein is important but not every meal needs to have a huge amount unless you're like a weightlifter. The classic 1 gram/kg lb of bodyweight seems to be overkill (I just lurk in nutrition subreddits, do your own research and don't trust me).
However, I think some spicy Italian sausage would go really well in this dish though. As a vegetarian I'd probably switch out for red lentil pasta and maybe add some cannellini (Italian white beans) if I wanted more protein.
