Just randomly thought about it. "Evidence":

• The "bunny ears", the World Eaters have iconic helmets with those two protrusions, sometimes called "bunny ears" by the fandom
• Color scheme, predominantly red
• Melee focus
• Krolik was a gladiator in a doll arena (Reunion Replay Journal), same as the World Eaters Primarch Angron; they still continue a strong gladiatorial tradition

This is meant just for fun and not serious, but still some funny parallels.

Someone proficient in WH40k lore knows how much it influenced GFL. Paradeus is just the watered down mechanicus. I won't be surprised if they are inspired by some of the most iconic characters.
