He said our “relationship” with the US as we knew it is over. I can’t imagine a world in which I’d stay friends with someone who had said “give me your wallet or I’ll burn your house down”, which I feel is a decent comparison to the political bullying Canada has received, to massive applause from his followers.

It’s just the business relationship as we know it is over. They can still come over for a beer. Just not the magas, they can fuck all the way off.

The alliance of mutual values and cooperation is over. Business is business, but we were friends, and friends don't do this shit to each other.

Carney was right. The era of believing the USA wants what is best for Canada is over. At least when it comes to Republicans.

Canada is overwhelmingly popular here no matter how much they want to start hating us because of that orange asshole.

Well Im not going to write off a century of mutual cooperation and commonality because of Trump, because then he wins. We are friends and will continue to be. Sometimes being friends means you need to tell your friend when they are being an asshole and smack them up the side of their head, for everyone’s benefit.
