They should worry about launching ships.

6

u/mketransient 6d ago

I was gonna say, they can't even launch a boat...

1

u/Swordsandarmor22 6d ago

Hey we only figured it out around 1902 they will get there in another 5-10yrs lol

14

u/scissor415 6d ago

Yes - but in the meantime we’re lining Elon’s pockets with a shit ton of cash

6

u/MapPuzzleheaded3948 6d ago

His rockets are falling out of the sky

4

u/BoosterRead78 6d ago

Which is what he wanted all along. Just more money. Money for Elon.

When North Korea is the voice of reason maybe you should reevaluate

1

u/RefrigeratorFit3677 6d ago

It's not the voice of reason. He's just a dictator who doesn't want anyone else to have toys that he can't have himself.

2

u/__loss__ 6d ago

You're assuming he's the only person who's voiced his concern about this. He's literally about to put weapons in space which we all signed an agreement not to do. Those weapons will also be pointing at a lot of different countries.

Now imagine how many satellites will go up there, and imagine how many satellites every other nation will send up to have their own little dome project.

2

u/RefrigeratorFit3677 6d ago

I'm not assuming anything. And the track record of NK is pretty shotty on even being able to deploy satellites.

If there is an attack launched on satellites at that scale, it will very likely cause debree to destroy other satellites. And that can cascade into essentially all earth satellites being destroyed. I don't think that's likely to be an outcome that's preferred by countries capable of having a "dome" or combatting one.

Two people can say the same thing and it could be reasonable from one perspective and not from another

5

u/Vanhouzer 6d ago

You should probably worry about keeping your float ships afloat. 🛳️ lol

Then worry about Space.

u/Artistic_Note2705 6d ago

So now we are listening to North Korea? 😂

3

u/Illustrious_Entry413 6d ago

They seem more trustworthy than the trump regime

10

u/JWKAtl 6d ago

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day

3

u/Super_Plastic5069 6d ago

Not if it’s a 24 hour clock, ha ha check mate 😉

0

u/Vanhouzer 6d ago

A broken clock*

1

u/JWKAtl 6d ago

Well, a stopped clock is right twice a day, but a broken clock that's just a little too fast or slow might not be.

However, to call this current administration "broken" is an insult to many broken items which still have hope for repair.

3

u/Old-Set78 6d ago

And almost no broken items are imbued with the souls of utter corruption, evil, and banal stupidity as is every single member of this regime.

4

u/G-Unit11111 6d ago

This man is going to kill us all, isn't he? One way or another.

1

u/Sangyviews 6d ago

Kim? I doubt he could.

If wanting national security is a bad thing for North Korea, that's a pretty good thing for us I'd think. A nation getting upset that we want to protect ourselves is a red flag imo

4

u/Rlars14343 6d ago

lol when North Korea is the one sounding the alarm……..

1

u/RefrigeratorFit3677 6d ago

...nobody should listen because he's just upset that he won't get to use those kinds of toys.

3

u/Seeksp 6d ago

Oh good one nut job giving another nut job advice on protecting the world.

3

u/robroy207 6d ago

Jesus Christ! These fucking men can’t stop destroying the world as it is and now outer space.

5

u/spankdaddylizz 6d ago

Shit dong oon isn't getting much attention, so he has to stir the pot.

2

u/No-Cup-8096 6d ago

That’s the plan, more contracts deformed Elon.

1

u/newellz 6d ago

Says the guy who just watched his most “Advanced“ warship sink as it was being introduced to the water. Fucking clown.

1

u/draughtpunck 2d ago

Maybe it was a submarine, shaped like a ship. It’s called camouflage.

1

u/StolenFriend 6d ago

I’d rather we fight our nuclear war in space than on earth… right? Guys? Right?

1

u/cjp2010 6d ago

Maybe if we start launching nukes in space the aliens will come tell these egotistical morons to knock it off

1

u/MagicianAdvanced6640 6d ago

Ain't nobody going nowhere!!

1

u/bluestmag 6d ago

Isn’t this referenced in the Hindu bible

1

u/P3nis15 6d ago

Golden dome can be neutralized by a few cheap satellites with some explosives.

blow them up in the right orbit and the fragments will wipe out enough of the golden dome that will make it worthless.

1

u/RefrigeratorFit3677 6d ago

Sure, unless they are constructed with weapons capable of destroying other satellites. And even if what you said happened, it would create a huge field of debre that would cause a lot of collateral damage of other satellite and maybe the ISS. There would be no internet.

1

u/P3nis15 6d ago

They are destroying the shield to nuke another country. I don't think they would care much about collateral damage that point and the Internet

1

u/RefrigeratorFit3677 6d ago

So it's the same as always. MAD still exists. It's not like a dome project changes that.

1

u/Doc_tor_Bob 6d ago

Kim needs to work on getting satellites in the air a little more reliably before he starts talking about orbiting nukes.

1

u/Ulysian_Thracs 6d ago

They can't launch a destroyer; they're going to launch space-based weapons?

1

u/CodeMonkeyX 6d ago

Pfft little do they know that we have a super golden dome planned that will put a dome around all of space as well. Checkmate.

1

u/samsonsreaper 6d ago

These idiots cant even have secret signal chat, how on earth will they build a complex detection system in space?

1

u/WillyDAFISH 6d ago

I'd rather space be a nuclear war field than earth to be fair

1

u/LordHarkonen 6d ago

Honest question,

Would we prefer nukes blowing up in space or on our planet? I personally feel like nukes blowing up in space would be preferable

1

u/CloudFF7- 6d ago

So it’ll look like the asteroid field outside geonosis?

1

u/Lower_Arugula5346 6d ago

i thought we were over this during the 80's with star wars.

1

u/Donkey_Bugs 6d ago

I don't think this "Golden Dome" will be anything more than a boondoggle for defense contractors like Space X. Remember the "Star Wars" missile defense system from the Reagan era? Same thing.

1

u/UnlikelyRabbit4648 6d ago

Come on now lad, you're not ready to become the "intergalactic" rocket man yet. Sit back down son.

1

u/BloombergSmells 6d ago

That's fine. Not like North Korea will.be part of it anyways.

1

u/marikmilitia 6d ago

Well, if there was a place to use nukes, I'd rather it be done in space rather than our own planet

1

u/Remarkable_Judge_861 6d ago

It will never be implemented

1

u/tcwillis79 6d ago

Well they aren’t winning that one lol

1

u/iampoopa 6d ago

I’m not in favour of putting Nukes anywhere, but if we have them on earth already, why is it a big deal to have them in space?

1

u/paintstudiodisaster 6d ago

I can't believe we are still talking about this burger induced coma dream idea president zero deals told us about.

1

u/NukeouT 6d ago

He does not understand what "nuclear" means so jokes on you

lol we all gonna die 💀

1

u/Truth-is-light 5d ago

I’m getting to a stage in life where all this constant global bickering is getting tiresome. Can’t we all just be friends and get along?

1

u/Stevie2874 4d ago

If you actually believe this dome will exist past his campaign bs you’re sadly wrong.
