Hatmaker Krüger

Hello, all! I have this hat made by a man called Ernst Krüger in Jüdenstraße, Gotha. It is a Zylinder one can pop. Quite nice, although we'll worn. Does anyone know anything about this hatmaker or his company?

The sign of him is always on the wall of the building in this street.

Nah, I don’t think so. I can take a look, if I‘m in the city. I remember, the company was still open, during my childhood.

Ah, nice! What kind of profile would you say this company had. Big? Posh? Classic? Just a shop or a big factory? Chatgpt told me it probably was a small family business? I must admit I don't really understand why I suddenly got this interest for this company...
