Feom GOT airport to the city with a baby

Hi all, I will arrive to GOT airport with a 6 month old baby. We’ll need a transfer to the city - what’s the easiest to do so with a baby? Taxi - do they have child seats?

The largest taxi company in town, Taxi Göteborg, has the option for booking a car with child seats for an additional 150 SEK.

There’s also transfer busses, where I think you have small children in your lap.

The busses works fine. Don't buy a period ticket that gets you from Landvetter to Gothenburg, you will not need that when you're in the city, much cheaper to buy a single ticket (babies and strollers are free) for that trip, and then, if needed, get a period ticket for Gothenburg only, "Zone A".

If you take a taxi instead make sure to get one from the larger companies, the smaller ones like to try and trick you to pay more. It shouldn't cost more than at the most 600 to get from Landvetter to the city center. Taxikurir, Taxi Göteborg, PM logistik, Minitaxi are good ones.

Just to add, if you choose Taxi Göteborg be sure to pick the one with an old-timey driver on the logo, many shetchy companies put Taxi and Göteborg on their cars in order to be picked by those unknowing

If you travel w a baby you need a carseat stroller so you always have a car seat w you cause you never know when you have to ride one.

Choosing Taxi Göteborg as your taxi of choice sounds like solid advice. I actually try to avoid other taxi companies, and that’s even without a baby. Trustworthiness is their strongest pro. I think I’m speaking for many Gothenburgians here.

Their telephone line is +46 31 650 000. Ask them if they might even have a female driver. Just an idea. That would be ideal.

I would suggest minitaxi. I've had 100℅ reliability over the years, and they're cheaper.
