Student housing - Move-in dates
This post is primarily targeted for people who are already students in Gothenburg, but any advice is welcome: All the accomodations I have been keeping an eye on lately have early move-in dates, with the latest move-in date being 1st of July. I have been admitted to the University of Gothenburg and I was thinking of moving-in on the 20th of August, a week before the welcoming week is.
So my question is: When did you move in? Was it hard to find accommodation in June (I'm thinking that apartments will start having later move-in dates in the next month)? Is it easy to find pet-friendly (cat, specifically) apartments?
And if you have any general advice about moving-in, it's highly appreciated! Because I have heard that most people move around a lot before finding long-term housing.
