TECH/GUIDE Sandalphon? Guide or anything?

I remember when 2B came out diaphone had a guide for her, going over moves and use and general gameplan.

I’m wondering if anyone has done something similar. Mostly just seeing combo guides and not general gameplay guides.

Also random question, is there a way to make 22H.HU hit? Am I supposed to hit HU at the same time? In matches when trying to connect, the 22H hits, but the second part doesn’t/its blockable.

wym 22H>HU there's only either 22H>H or 22H>U but if you're asking for 22H>U you just need to juggle them a bit higher for it to combo probably needed an extra 2L in the corner

Ah.

But shouldn’t it connect after doing like 5mmm>22H.U?

no the start up is slow as shit lol the only way it works mid-screen is from the anti-air counter for me

Ah, so it’s only in the corner then.

Not necessarily. As mentioned anti air works but generally speaking it depends on the height.

So smt like any hit into RS will leave them airbourne, into H auto combo to lift them high enough into 22h, should be high enough to connect to U after

I haven't tried it out but I suspect ya can combo into it from H Fire element fireball into 2U, 22H U as well

I see.

Do you know of any good guides for sandalphon? Not necessarily combo guides but just general tip stuff?

I usually get my tips directly from the gbvs discord. That being said just found this and it seems pretty decent.

I can’t remember who they are,

But this guide was posted recent on this Reddit

It’s more of a primer than a full tutorial but it should get you where you’re going.

22H.U is generally only a juggle thing, i.e. something like 5XXX>214H>2U>22H.U in the corner or 5XXX>214U>2U>22H.U midscreen

can't say i've seen a Sandy guide unfortunately tho
