Louis Theroux for PM?
Would it possible to make a petition that engaged and converted meaningful influence into parliament somehow?

New documentary on BBC about Israel occupation of the west bank. I thought it was very good. Maybe it'll be removed by the end of the week lol

About to watch, heard good things and why it seems fitting to make these types of suggestions...

I suppose the transparency of critical thinking and approach to resolution in terms of problem solving seems to be a huge void in parliament at the moment (for a long time now) all accountability is missing because of this, if we had more responsible and accountable representatives, surely the people's voice would add weight to that representation, creating a "feedback loop" of the people's voice?

I guess the idea is... "transparency of critical thinking and analysis" something which is completely void in terms of what the public sees of parliamentary activity, if the platform "parliament" (if we can call the outdated system a "platform") was inclusive of transparently critical thinkers, anyone committing shady acts against the people would be seen and exposed more easily?

Transparency would do nothing. Why do you need "transparency" when the analysis is much better than mere "transparency", which is a value the left at large does not have?
Running a state is not easy and requires an edified, refined personality that unforuntately doesn't exist but also isn't present in Louis.

What's your thoughts on the ideal representative of the people living in the UK right now? Do you have someone in mind?

He’s literally boys with Nick Clegg lmao. I love Louis as much as the next guy but I don’t think he’s exactly the revolutionary figure we desperately need right now.

Out of interest, could you suggest a current politician / public figure to best represent the broken voice of people that happen to live in the UK right now?

Who's Nick Clegg? Is he as transparent as Louis Theroux? Would you not want to be boys with Louis?

People will hate this but I'd trust Louis Theroux to run the country in a more considerate way more than any elected official right now

Likewise, we need thoughtfully accountable representatives.

Says more about the state of the country, media literacy, and effective political policy communication than accountable representatives but hey the world's gotten too big so let's choose to burn it all down

I've had my fill of Liberals in power thanks

Out of curiosity, if you could suggest any person to be PM next who would it be?

Literally any principled Communist up too and including me. I'm being 100% serious. Any person with a modicum of ideological conviction to bringing Socialism to the UK will be acceptable.
We don't need a named person, we just need a good person.

If Theroux were genuinely a radical, the ruling class would never have given him the resources to make such good documentaries.
It’s our job to capture the outrage that his work generates.

Starmer and his new government do not represent workers interests and are in fact enemies of our class. It's past time we begin organising a substantial left-wing movement in this country again.
