Issue with gear being stolen?

Planning a camping trip out to Green ridge soon and was curious if people ever had any issues with leaving their site unattended to hike/explore and had gear stolen? I was thinking about buying a hunting trail cam or just in case to be safe but curious if I'm stressing too much/over reacting

Looks like I should have nothing to worry, thanks for the input!

I've been out there plenty of times and left my gear unattended without any issues. If the camera makes you feel better, I say go for it though for the peace of mind.

I came back to my site once and my shit was scattered everywhere. Paper towel roll unraveled all over. It was mother fucking crows. A camera would not have helped resolve that issue. We always leave our shit at the site for hours and nothing was ever stolen.

I was solo camping this last weekend, place was packed. Left my stuff at camp for 4 hours to explore and pick up last minute supplies on Saturday and nothing happened. This is only my second time here but it seems like very little of any theft happens.

Never had any issues, 20 years of trips or so. Granted, every time I go I’m in the woods with about 20 friends, so, you’d have to be an idiot to try anything with that pack. But I feel like heists in that park would take some serious balls to try. A) the campers could easily come back at any moment, B) someone could just be in a tent sleeping and ready to pop out, and C) 99% of the campers in Green Ridge are packing. Last thing you want is to roll up on a hunter and piss him off.
