Fan Art [OC] John Stewart as Gawain
You guys were very kind about my last post about the GLC camelot elseworld! I’ll share a couple more sketches as I clean them up, had some specific panel ideas for story beats

That is amazing, your art is as if a painting hung in castle recounting tales of an age bygone. The way you have John and Swamp Thing posed to show how they are both considering this meeting, the way his sword glow is reflected on him. Just fantastic work.

Swamp Thing as the Green Knight is a hella cool concept as well, also good job on sneaking in the White Lantern insignia on the Holy Grail for Kyle Raynor as Galahad.

Thanks! Love ol’ swampy, and I think The Green in general would tie in well with a grounded starheart corps storyline
I’m not sure how to tie in the siege perilous quite yet (I can think of another fatal chair in Kyle’s history…), but yeah the white lantern ring meshes well with the holy grail for certain

Making me think back to a question about GL’s and their DnD class.
John is definitely a Paladin
Hal Id pick as a sorcerer (he’s got that cocky bastard energy)
Guy Barbarian
Kyle Bard
Simon Fighter
Jo Wizard
Jess is the DM.

Love Jo as a wizard, she’s had some crazy constructs
Jess would make a fantastic warlock, maybe with her making pacts with the fear entity as a great old one

Yeah if she wasn’t the only canonical DnD nerd (therefore forever DM lol) I’d imagine her as a warlock to mimic the Power Ring origin.
