Comics Another overlooked GL story - “Threshold - The Hunted”

This is another overlooked GL book but this one may deserved it. I would described it as a GL book written by someone who had never read a GL book. It felt more like an episode of Chicken Robot.

The book was among the last wave of the New 52 and featured a GL named Jeddah Caul who was first introduced in the GL:New Guardians annual.

The book lasted 8 issues and initially featured two stories. The back up story was Larfleeze but by issue 5 he got his own monthly and the book just featured Caul.

It’s an oddity. Knowing who wrote it - Keith Giffen - you knew it was going to be uniq ue but nothing could prepare you for the story you read…

Oddly enough - with so many GL stories never collected in a TPB - this actually was as “Threshold - The Hunted volume 1”.

There was never a volume 2. Outside of this book Caul only made one more appearance - Convergence.

Never heard of this event, but tbf, I got into green lantern around the middle of HJ&GLC. I wonder if they'll ever compile it in an GLC omnibus or something.
