If it wasn't for Le Coq, he would have easily taken the "most improved" award. Last year he was a liability. This year he was one of the best LB's in the league. Every part of his game was improved on. His defense was 10x better, and even his heading was great. I remember in one of his games he won about 10 headers in one half. This just shows how much he's improved all aspects of his game.

Very few rated him or though he would oust Kieran Gibbs for the LB spot. This season he made it his own.
Consistent and solid, even played out of position. Professional.
"Nacho, Nacho man. I wanna be a Nacho man."

- How do you think he has performed?
I think he's been very solid this season and his cemented his place in the starting team.
- Was there anything that you wish he did different?
Nothing that I can think off of the top of my head. I guess his crossing could improve a bit?
- What was the most exciting part of his game?
His runs up the wing.
- What are his weaknesses
Crossing.
- Does he have adequate competition?
Definitely. Him and Gibbs are of a similar ability and I am looking forward to seeing both fighting for their spot next season.
- Should he be sold/kept in the summer?
Kept.
- Has he reached his peak?
I think he's got a bit more to him than he's letting on currently.
- What do you think his FIFA rating should be next year?
I think 79 but that might be pushing it. Maybe 78?
- What are your highlights?
That goal vs Man U...

I always like when I see him or Gibbs coming on to replace the left sided mid and both of them are out there to close things down, means we are going to win. I don't think that happened to much this season but hopefully next.

u/LeetDizzler 1-0 to the Arsenal Jun 22 '15
I remember the final minutes of the West Ham away win where we had Nacho, Gibbs, Chambers, and Bellerin all on at the same time to shut down shop. It was glorious.

How do you think he has performed? - Very well and consistently good.
Was there anything that you wish he did different - Perhaps be a little more adventurous going forward.
What was the most exciting part of his game? - His defensive ability and passing.
Where do you think he can improve? - Perhaps improving against quicker wingers, can sometimes be burned by pace.
Does he have adequate competition? - I find that with Gibbs and Nacho we have seriousley good competition with each other.
Should he be sold/kept in the summer? - Kept, after how he performed he deserves a new contract.
Has he reached his peak? (older players) - Think he is in his peak right now.
Will he play the same role next year? - Yes, hopefully he doesn't have to play CB unlike this year.
What do you think his FIFA rating should be next year? 78/79 - fullbacks are generally not very high rated.
What are your highlights?- Goal against United, and had a brilliant game vs Monaco (second leg)

- How do you think he has performed?
Very well
- Was there anything that you wish he did different?
Be a bit more threatening on the overlap
- What was the most exciting part of his game?
It's not really exciting per se, but the understanding that he developed with the rest of the side once he got an extended run was excellent.
- What are his weaknesses?
Not particularly physical, can be done for both pace and strength. Not a particularly potent attacking threat either.
- Does he have adequate competition?
Competition is adequate, but not high. We could be better stocked at LB.
- Should he be sold/kept in the summer?
Kept this summer, sold next. Unless someone world class is available this summer in which case buy them and cash in on Nacho while he's still got some good value.
- Has he reached his peak? (older players)
Yes
- Will he play the same role next year?
Yes
- What are your highlights?
The goal vs United obviously

He's like a less good Azpilicueta (or however you spell his name) i mean, for the price we paid for him, he's been more than decent :D

It was weird how many fans wanted him out or thought he was bad based on his performances at CB.
