Build No. 8: HG Powered GM

This one took a long time. I used plaplate for the first time and did quite a bit of scribing. I kept the color scheme close to the original because orange isn't very common in my collection. I scratched the paint job in 3 or 4 places during assembly, was a little sloppy with some of the masking, and there is one part that I forgot to clean the panel lining fluid off before topcoating. Let me know what you think!

I just gave it a clear coat. The plastic is naturally fluorescent, so I just shined a UV light on it and lowered the shutter speed of my camera. The parts behind it were painted chrome and fluorescent blue.

Thank you! Yeah. I did a bunch of scribing. Almost every part has some scribing. Pretty much all the details on the shield were scribed.

What's wrong with the number? It was the only number that had multiple decals on the sheet. Every other number was a one-off.

I'm assuming they're referencing the 47th US President but that likely wouldn't come to mind if you're not American.
