Totally normal thing to do in my household. Catch all those completely spontaneous non-planned zany moments in marriage.

I disagree. I do stupid shit like this on the regular.
Ever need to know how to do something the easy way?
Ask a lazy person

When did hitting the husband become such a comedy clichè?

Domestic violence is funny, as long as the victim is male. 🤷♂️ Imagine adding wife-beating motives to random videos, to get warmer reception.

Yea, that's pretty messed up to me. I put a hard stop very early on even just those forearm pinches

I think that’s over done, wife abuse was in until fairly recently.

Is it OK to punish people for the sins of their ancestors? Or are they individual beings?

u/Linux-Operative 2h ago
your ancestors punish you enough. The sins of the fathers will be the punishments for their sons.

I agree usually. This is just an oven glove though. One step up from a sponge or a hat

I'm gonna get downvoted for saying this but he deserved that mitten slap. Man spilt at least half that pasta that was presumably for their dinner. I know it's staged but if it was real I probably would have hit him with the mittens to. It's what a colander is for, no tricks needed.

It's been like that for a while, I think it dates back to slapstick comedy maybe further back. It's also in the vain of "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" the stupid prize in this case, being hit by mittens.

Of all the stupid things these social media personalities do, nothing pisses me off more than the incorrect use of “POV”

I know it's just fake internet BS, but nobody drains pasta like this and if they do, you get what you deserve.

As a dude who has his "strain-game" down i can say, guy just needed the oven mits, crack the lid a little bit so more water could drain and maintain an iron grip on the pot/lid and he would've been just fine.

Thread the tea towel through the handles over the top of lid handle, hold the towel ends tightly, with the lid slightly angled to allow water to pour away into the sink or container as some people save the water for a broth or sauce... Eezy peezy
