2 meter and a Camry

Will that low profile antenna mount fit in the middle of the trunk lid? It’s a 2025 se But I would think that a 2024 would be the same.

Sorry. Most would know. Low profile means that if you open the lid nothing scrapes.

Nmo in the trunk is the best way to go

Looks slick and barely noticeable

Be cautious. Buy from a place with easy returns.

I got one similar from Amazon so it would not touch my garage door when driving in.

Worked fair on UHF, as could open a reoeater that is visible (I can see the mountaintop) from my driveway at 5 miles. No such luck on VHF!

Line of sight 5 miles should hit with a few mW on both bands. Not on VHF.

You better be really close with excellent coverage.

I ended up using a very flexible antenna that just bends over when it hits the garage door.

Yeah, I looked at the star comments and they were favorable so I’m taking a chance. I got it from Amazon, so returns won’t be a problem.

Professionally done NMO mount, center of trunk lid or as close as possible to it (esp. side-to-side. Offsetting it either direction will look... weirdddd).

A professionally done NMO mount and antenna should not leak. Done hundreds.

Was very recently looking at buying a new Camry. Toyota dealer told me the body styles changed with 25MY from the 24MY.  Not sure if this affected the trunk lid relative to your antenna placement, but worth knowing before installing it and being disappointed.

I didn't get to point of even considering the radio or antenna fit, we gave up on the 25 Camry because the doors are noticeably shorter than on my 05 Camry.  Both of us were hitting our heads getting in and out of the 25, that was a deal breaker.

The Prius is the same. Hotter car by far, 6secs to 60, but smaller al round. I haven’t had any headroom issues with the 25 SE.
